    ty so much very informative video. I have Hyundai i20 2012 and the oil filter/pan layout looks exactly the same. I did a self-service about 2 months ago. used Castrol gold 0w-30 in my environment makes sense and WIX filter. runs like a charm with 80k km underneath

    Bonjour, super vidéo merci pour le partage ! attention votre véhicule n'est pas a plat sur le sol, l'avant étant levé, l"intégralité de l'ancienne huille n'est pas vidangé. Sur ces moteurs asiatique, il faut aussi préciser que le niveau d'huile ce control moteur et huile chaude pas comme les moteurs européens =) @+++

    Hi Jay, With the vehicle raised on the front and since the oil drain plug is located on the front of the sump, don't you think there are chances that there might be left over old oil that does not come out, just a thought

    • @jaysworkshopgarage
      @jaysworkshopgarage  Před 2 lety +3

      Hi the drain plug is facing the rear of the car so is fine apologies for my video recording was wrong way

    I had one of these last year which came with full dealer service history. First time they changed the plugs was when it was on 37k. I spoke to dealer to find out why they left it so late and they said the the plugs dont need changing until either 40k / 48 months.
    Also thats the wrong air filter even the shape is different lol. Correct part is Mann C 25 002.

      I gave it a try, but can't find the correct data, so I'll do the same as You did. If the oil pan made of steel, and the threaded section is long enough, there won't be problem.
