    Great video. I've done this with a much smaller piece. A painstaking and to be honest, I found it to be a bit of a nerve wracking project. One never know whether the piece will blow up in the kiln.

    If using air dry clay do you still need to hollow out?

      I wouldn’t think so. It has to hollowed with the clay I’m using since it’s fired to 2200 degrees and would explode otherwise. 😁

      Yes it’s canvas stapled to a board!
