The camera is downgrade from dmc 1, the design is terrible, story is meh, enemy a.i are stupid, and the gameplay is the worse Guns are op as hell and the sword combo is just terrible.ffs there a boss that you can only shoot. I never thought in just 2 hours i would drop this game more than 5 times to just get a rest from boredom. This game is really a mistake by old capcom to just rushed the game. I heard this game is infamous but to this degree?
i play this game on pc today and i must tell its really enjoyable game only problem is that game is short and i learned to increase gun power and buy blue and purple orbs people never buy vital stars they are vaste of orbs buy only one vital star if you need it before hard boss but save game during mission if you die you continue from start but you keep all orbs and enhancements and items because stats can be saved also if you start again after death you can get extra red orbs again if you only buy vital stars you will ignore upgrading health and devil trigger or guns but remember guns can fire from distance and enhancing them mean shorter killing time also devil trigger can heal you and fire fast and stronger projectiles never underestimate power of health upgrade devil trigger and guns ok fans
2, 4, 1, 3. I'm going to DL DMC5 within the weekend, 2 was a rushed game with a boring predictable plot, easy glitch bosses, it was forgettable, it was more of a choir than fun. 4 was meh, but I think this was bad.
That one was one of the better games. You're being delusional and dishonest if you think it's one of the worst. 1 was alright but suffered from horrific repetition - you face every boss with the exception of Mundus like 3 times. The level design was short and lazy, and the camera angles were bad. 2 had horrifyingly shitty camera angles and a plot that made little to no sense - no effort was put into it.
It may be seven years but both games are pretty shit 1 is slightly better because at was at least a little enjoyable despite how bad it is but the second game doesn’t have a single challenging or fun moment

I did not like this game because it did not tell you where you had to go. So you spent the last hour or so trying to figure it out, so annoying.

Poorly designed and poorly written, Devil May Cry 2 was still a fun game.
