One note: at 1:13:50 a question about Good Syndrome and similarity to CVID came up. The discussion went in the direction of gene testing, which is fine for most PIs, but for Good Syndrome, my understanding is that the latest thinking is that it NOT genetic, but caused by immune dysregulation resulting from the thymoma, causing autoimmunity to cytokines = the interferons and interleukins needed for proper development of B and T-cells in the bone marrow.
