Chasing the Sun intro: "Stinger" by David Fesliyan www.fesliyanstudios.com/
I had the pleasure of interviewing the 2 co-founders in this video. czcams.com/video/TkCc5XI-rd8/video.html. Chris and Majic are 2 young entrepreneurs that's making it work for Apollo Scooters!
The explore is my favourite.
Great to see the real deal! Keep it up boy's you're doing good things (don't loose your vision along the way). Many thanks!!!! Wyoming & Colorado US.
It's pretty awesome that this scooter has so many features. SO many cities have scooter rentals and we haven't taken advantage of it but we want to scoot around more soon.
WOW! They seem like a great company. Most companies wouldn't bother with such a tiny channel. Nice work getting in there. Thanks 😃
Yes, the guys there are great and seem to have a good culture.
i own one and absolutely love it it's pretty awesome.
Good to hear that!
THIS IS AWESOME! The Apollo team seems awesome and chill too! thanks for the vid! I'm considering getting Apollo Pro or Explore once I sell my Boosted Rev
Yeah, they're a good bunch of guys.
After watching many(x100) scooter reviews from many utubers, a few days ago i ordered an apollo light scooter from montreal based on your first 2 videos......then i saw this video......and changed my order to an apollo city today(!!) before it was too late, as shipping is in a few days. Thank you for your great videos.
You're so welcome! I'm glad it was able to help you. If I had a ride on the City before I got my Light, I would've upgraded too!
It is great to see the behind the scenes at Apollo. I already have too many scooters. However, if I were considering one today I would seriously consider an Apollo. Thanks for the video!
You're welcome!
Really good product
Thank you sir for the in-depth 🙏
I'm glad you found it helpful
Thanks for the video Eric, so good to get to know a little bit more about the real Canadian product! For me it would also be nice to watch some videos of the Chinese factories showing the assembling processes during your conversation..
I will put that on my list if I visit China next time.
Great vid.
Great video. Inspires confidence in the company
Glad to hear that!
Great video, thank you
Thanks
That's wicked man, once I got a good bit saved up I might go with either the city or the explore
Yes. They're both great scooters! I'm thinking of getting the Ludicrous Pro now for the ultimate thrill!
Got my pro recently so much fun Apollo guys are doing a great job happy they’re Canadian! God bless thanks for the vid 👍🏼
Yes. Good Canadian story for sure
All4Jesus is the whole process made in Canada or is all the stock and parts from China???
Brian McK no the scooters come from China unfortunately
All4Jesus That’s what I thought!!!
Love apollo scooters and company. I’m so tempted to get the explore for its wonderful attributes, weight (i live second floor), stem-deck lighting (pedestrians often ask what is this, my 1st scooter is a splach). As I’m considering my upgrade, apollo is in my line of sight. Hoping to get a dual motor (bridge & hills) performance (30 mph) commuter (30 miles) scooter that’s very portable which i can carry up two flights (less than 55 lbs hopefully) in 2022. Has apollo ever considered rubber suspensions for the dampening advantages?
I credit your video with my current purchase I ordered the Apollo Explore can’t wait to ride it I’m in NY and we just got slammed with snow again lol I have the Segway ninebot Max (no complaints I love the scoot) just wanted something with more kick was looking at the Apollo City but I’m spoiled with the 10inch wheels on the Ninebot Max so I went with the Apollo Explore keep thes vids coming I enjoy your content!
Thanks! I'm sure you'll enjoy the scooter.
How do you like it vs your Max? I have a Max as well and just ordered the Ghost last week
Looking at 2022 phantom. 🇨🇦🇺🇸👏🏼
Apollo customer service was amazing when using the online chat to decide between the light and city. I ended up getting the city and just waiting for my preorder shipment this September 6 😭😭😅😅😁
Happy to hear! I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
Good review approach and information. Refreshing to see the inside workings of a scooter company. It would be helpful if some measurements were supplied. Most important would be useable deck length and the height of the bars from the top of the deck.
Glad it was helpful!
Just ordered a widewheel pro from them! They really do seem like good people, the appollo was tempting but for right now i love the design of the widewheel! I can attest to their warranty, its far better than anyone's I've seen and I did a ton of research. They even cover the wide wheel that they dont make for a whole year! While other places only cover it for 90 days!!!
I tried the wide wheel when I was at their shop and it's a lot of fun also
WW Pro is a beast, ride mine all the time and love it in every way!!
Thank you
You're welcome!
Best
I wonder if their original manufacturer is the same with maker of Mantis. The similarities are obvious.
nice
If only they would give you a choice of colours for the deck. (Not everyone likes the blue and white patterned deck). Then surely they would get more sales. With the E-Move scooters, you have a choice of 3 colours. Something Apollo should consider ?
Good idea. Hopefully, they'll consider it
Great review, but is there any review on the Apollo ghost?
No sorry. That is one of their newer ones and they didn't have any when I visited their shop.
are you planning on getting the ghost??? im also thinking of getting it but since its a new scooter i dont want to get a lemon... but i would love to take advantage of their thanks giving sale
@@nawang1980 I was but now I’m actually leaning more towards the mantis pro, Apollo is also coming out a new scooter called phantom . But I haven’t been able to get any specs on it yet
@@dnyce2083 Thank for your sharing your thoughts....
Dnyce YES...Check out Alien Rides for the Apollo Ghost review!
I just ordered Apollo Pro 52v with hydraulic brakes. They were sold out of 60watt model.
Nice! You're going to love those brakes!
How long do u have to wait for the scooter to arrive? I'm planning to order the same scooter, I live in New York city
@@goldenwormgames7628 it wasn’t long, although i didn’t track it. It came a week or so later after ordering it, shipped to the USA. They pack it well. Although not damaged it was completely encased in styro. I appreciated that as well as the preshipping inspection.
@@goldenwormgames7628 Typically only a few days
Question is if you have a 52v Apollo Pro will an aftermarket upgrade be offered for the ludicrous. Can the new controller and regenerative brake work on the 52 v or will we have to upgrade the battery and motors as well. ???
Sorry, that questions is beyond me. But I'm sure if you hit up the guys at Apollo, they'll be happy to help you with it.
Battery on the ludicrous is 21ah and the motors are 1200w
I ordered the light after watching your video, then the more I thought about it the more I wanted to upgrade to the Explore. I called them and they changed my order for me, no problem. It should be coming some time this week, I can’t wait to zip around Brooklyn on it
So great that they did that for you. I'm sure you'll have fun with it.
Chasing the Sun supposed to come in tomorrow, looking forward to it
@@jackrobhp28 Excited for you!
Nice video, thanks!
Chris sounds like an ex South African 🇿🇦
No. He might me, but I thought he was New Zealander
@@ChasingtheSunVlog nah, I watched again. I'm a saffa living in NZ. Pretty sure he's a saffa, probably been in Ca for a while though
Random question: Has anyone seen any fuses or fusable links in scooters? I've worked on some and havent seen any. Are fuses becoming obsolete?
Sorry I don't know.
This video is a year old. Has the secret scooter come out yet? Is the Ghost or Phantom the Ludicrous scooter.
The Apollo Pro was the one with the Ludicrous option but I don't see it on their website anymore. It may have been replaced by one of the newer ones.
@@ChasingtheSunVlog Thanks
You said you shipped the scooter back when you had a problem, how much was that ??? Thanks
They paid for the shipping.
@@ChasingtheSunVlog ok good to know, thanks for the fast reply.
How do you apply the discount code for accessories??? Thanks!
I don't think it's applicable to accessories.
@@ChasingtheSunVlog ok thanks, but description says $50 off of accessories. Just purchased the city and looking for accessories.
I've heard that Apollo brand scooters are good in wet weather is that true or false am very curious & it's a very important info to my purchase..P.S.Apollo Explorer is my choice.👍🏽
I can't comment on that as I have only used it in dry conditions.
Would anybody recommend this scooter for short people ? Like 5'2 ? Thanks
My pre-teen daughter uses no problem. The stem of the handle part is adjustable by height.
@@ChasingtheSunVlog thank you so much !

J’aimerais beaucoup avoir un T-shirt de Apollo comme le gars pour rouler avec ma Apollo Pro , où je pourrais m’en procurer un , merci et bonne journée
I'm not sure. But you can probably contact Apollo for that.
Wonder which one of these guys shipped me the wrong scooter?!
I’m so freakin jealous... because I’m from Germany and we’re only allowed to drive max 500W 20kmh 😭
That's funny cause you guys have there autobahn. But I can understand from a safety perspective
In most civilized countries (EU 😉) 2 years warranty is the bare minimum required by law.
Good to know. Thanks.
Chris has a really big nose.
cant wait to see the apollo ultraludicrous. an 11x on steroids.
Build it in Canada
Is it me or is it just looks like OEMs and rebranded?
its a zero scooter clone ! shame there are actually ripping off other manufacturers designs and rebranding them as apollo
@@pasha1620 actually the "Zero" is called T10 DDM and everyone brands it differently and chooses a different battery etc
Call it one of the fastest!! The Rion would blow it off the street!!!!
Wow, just checked out the specs of the Rion and it looks impressive. Would be interesting to see those two compared.
Yes, even the ludicrous version of the pro doesn't even come close to the Rion.
So it’s Chinese made? No thanks.
What scooters arnt Chinese?
@@ztwinzplaytv9003 Exactly. On top of that it was made public that the quality of the Model 3/Y Teslas made in Shanghai are better than the ones made in the USA (Measuring panel gaps mostly which is a known problem). All Apple products are made in China. With this I'd still prefer to stick to Korean/Japanese cells....
@@ztwinzplaytv9003 Luna and Rion for starters
This Ludicrous scooter 🛴 from Appolo is a major price grab nothing new or revolutionary just a bigger 🔋 with a higher price grab👎
I had a warranty problem with my Scooter and Apollo rose to the occasion. They had to do a few things but they came through and this was just past their 24 months. Really good guys at Apollo!
They scam you when you try to return items. Even if damaged. Don't use this company
hope you are not a compititor.... and your words are real...
@@nawang1980 they are genius
I wouldn't even put the words scam and Apollo in the same sentence! I've ordered scooters from various companies allover the world and Apollo is the first one to thoroughly impress me not only with their products but support and the best warranty on the market as well. Apollo is top notch in every way in my opinion! If you had ANY issues, I can assure you Chris at Apollo will take of you!
@@jasonfleege233 and you know him. Your credibility is questionable.
@@911S Truth be told, I do NOT know him other than excellent customer service he's provided to not only myself, but many others as well. Owning a business myself makes me appreciate quality service and support, my credibility is far from questionable man LOL
