I cringed at the rice. You could tell the yellow parts were dry
@@jamiroquai30 I know 😭
Poor thing was making use of everything she had.
It gave off the feel the rice was left in the pot on the stove all night and instead of tossing it she threw it in the microwave to kill any bacteria that would have since grown.
Best pasta ever:
Linguine
Olive oil
Onions&garlic
Hot dogs
Cook hot dogs with olive oil onions and garlic, cook the Linguine (add salt to boiling water) drain the pasta and combine (add salt to taste) enjoy.
They taste better when angle sliced
She had me at beans and avocado 🤤. I probably would have used deer sausage. We hunt a lot. Can't remember the last time I bought hot dogs
Looks like a healthy meal except for the cheap hotdogs. You are not missing anything, so it's better to stick to deer sausage.
@@simply.k3573 her meal looks healthy and delicious. I don't buy hot dogs because of the price, not because I think it's not healthy. You can eat anything in moderation. Her family looks healthy.
@@darncash2056 You saw her family? I'm sure nobody's health is badly affected from eating those hotdogs, but why even buy it when there are healthier and better alternatives? Hotdogs are much cheaper than sausages, so I'm not sure what's stopping you from buying it. You do you.
I would cry if my mom served me this 😭
I'm so happy you never experienced this struggle meal 👍🏻
I am also happy that you never had to experience this too.
You make me cry because you lack basic human fucking dignity. Times are hard people eat what they can afford.
Why does your comments come off so Jaded lol. I was served similar stuff and I hated it lmao. This also ain't even that much of a struggle meal. It's also a lazy meal. (By that I mean of you don't wanna do a lot of prep work. I'm not calling this mother lazy. She is doing her best like my mother had to. God bless her soul.)
Pork n beans and weiners. Mashed potatoes and bread n butter. I grew up poor and this was a dinner we looked forward to no matter how often served. Got to try your version... looks good!
Yes that sounds about right. Everyone now and then we would have cornbread and butter with that.
I feel you on the price, but i can't do hotdogs, i do the same thing with keilbasa or cheddar wurst...yum!
Just a tip from a cook to another, I usually drain my beans in the sink, because when they are in a can, they usually have too much sodium, just to keep it preserved in the can, so I always rinsed them off with water.
But i love the creativity to manage a family❤ reminds me of me growing up and when we didnt go grocery shopping yet. my grandma would pan fry corn to make fried corn, to put on top of rice with pan fried sausage link 🥰😋🍚
Keep going making videos though👍🏽
That isn't necessary
@@Moose803 necessary, no. better, yes.
Just buy the no salt black beans like I do..
Aren’t u meant to drain the kidney beans??
Reminds me of my childhood
First gourmet meal I’ve seen made with hot dogs lol
