Nit-pick corner: The 128 TB limit used to be 8 TB limit on older versions of x64 Windows. The 2 GB / 4 GB flags is there among other things for backwards compatibility as older Windows guaranteed user space address limit to be 2 GB and developers were fine using that one extra bit. Fun stuff when 2GB style DLL is loaded into 4GB style process.
