Love that cute little house! I would happily live there! (I have lived in old houses before..cold in the winter and hot in the summer) still worth it love the history.
Really a pleasant format on this video. I sure enjoyed watching. Time & money well spent even though there was no silver or gold, it had to be fun finding all those wheaties! HH
that was cool, treasures were pulled, this was a cool adventure thanks 4 bringing us along on your journey, until next time.. Happy Hunting & God bless
I love history, and the things that you find really fascinate me! My dad and I used to metal detect when I was a kid in Wisconsin. I definitely want to buy a metal detector and treasure hunt, so-to-speak.
Hi J.D. nice place would mind staying there nice getting the old Penny's I wish you could have got some silver while I was watching I leap hoping you would get silver next time just love your videos.
hey JD man that was an awesome hunt ,,so many wheaties ,, that little pendant was weird (wonder what it was ) I'm going out now to search around some old gold rush cabins,,( I hope I find some buried jar of gold) good luck & happy hunting my friend
JD, I was just wondering if you might have found some silver if you had pulled out your old trusty eTrac machine and gone back over some spots you found wheat cents. Or is your T2 capable of going just as deep as the eTrac on silver. Still enjoyed the hunt you had but I'm curious how another brand that you have used in the past might have done. Maybe not as good, you would know better than me.
I bought a couple houses in Cumberland Maryland recentlyone of them had a barber shop in the basement with a crawl space on one side can I use a pinpointer to find anything in there are the accurate enough
Hey jd enjoy ur vids , very Kool .You show what mding is all about, you inspire me to start thre hobby again I use to do it back in 93 had a freedom one I detected many finds in Camden NJ very old town I remember my best find was a 1876 Canadian large cent sucks lost all of my collection took a bad path in life now born again I hope to get back into the hobby I now live on treasure coast of Florida watching you has my gold fever Awakening again love you for your passion when I save enough to get a decent detector maybe I'll invite you to hit the treasure coast with me Kool I'll be watching
Hey Patrick! Good to hear from you. I'm a Christian also. Without God intervening in my life I would have never started making these treasure hunting videos in the first place. :)
People used to pay for their mail to the mailman in the mailbox. Coins may be there. You need to see if the area where the old road used to be is paved over or not.
That is cool that you do that, paid $ 175.00 to metal detect at this bed and breakfast. You should have kept the quartz it could of had fine gold in it.
JD, great to see ya here in my neck of the woods buddy. I really, really, really truly wanted to see you dig an Indian Head. While you're here, find a stretch of abandoned RR tracks and swing over the roadbed. Be careful of some places in the blue ridge though and see ya soon buddy.
Looks like that thing you thought was a chunk of lead looks like the top to a ground rod with an acorn clamp attached. Someone probably cut it with a mower blade. I bet that made a racket lol.
Hold onto that bear. I cant recall at this moment but its def vintage. Let it rattle around a bit n i know it will come to me. Cute place. My son n i were looking to find a place but more western states.
Please forgive my pun in the title. Couldn't help myself.

Watching the bumble bee. "We'll let him bee". Quote of the video lol. Good video man!
Nice dig JD and a good reminder that sometimes we have to pay to play.
Awesome JD!!! You should come to Washington state and explore
Now this is a fantastic idea!!!!! Thanks I’m going to book some places . Lol
"Let him bee". Too funny!
I used to live in a house built in 1884, but then we moved. That was before I got into hunting, and I’m so mad I wasn’t able to hunt there!!
I am new to this considering purchasing a metal detector your videos are awesome keep up the good work. Tennessee Lee.
Nice video JD. Nice relaxing place. Found some good Wheaties there. The low cealings keeps it warmer in those old houses.
We'll let him "Bee" oh dear! That was a dad joke lol.
Relic Hunter - how do you know when a joke is a dad joke?
Wait for it...
When it becomes a parent!!!
@@janvafa4253 lol
Really a pleasant format on this video. I sure enjoyed watching. Time & money well spent even though there was no silver or gold, it had to be fun finding all those wheaties! HH

Hi JD hope your day is going good and that you are well also.
Same to you! :)
Great video, thanks for sharing.
I absolutely love your title. The pun is very well done.
That little scraper is called a Pan. It does remove top layers of dirt. Lots of nice wheats. Thought you may find some silver.
Like the Blue Ridge - good idea to hunt the property you're staying in :) Enjoy!
Yeah! That was a spooky looking pendant!!
💪💪you're awesome keep up the good work!
that was cool, treasures were pulled, this was a cool adventure thanks 4 bringing us along on your journey, until next time.. Happy Hunting & God bless
I love history, and the things that you find really fascinate me! My dad and I used to metal detect when I was a kid in Wisconsin. I definitely want to buy a metal detector and treasure hunt, so-to-speak.
JD love your channel and I’m sort of a Lone Ranger detectorist myself meaning I don’t mind being and hunting by myself. Keep it up champ.
What state on parkway were you in?
I watch a lot of metal detector vids and Aquachigger and yourself are the best
JD the ford key is likely from the mid 50's to 60's. Love your channel. Keep up the digging and be safe.
I really enjoyed the video Buddy. I own a House that is very similar to that one and a mudroom and kitchen added on to it in 1940.
“The fish are bittin’!” Lol
You should metal detect in the day and ghost hunt at night
Enjoyed the vid ... nice scores...
And thanks for checking out my channel
LoL! Luv tht u ad'd the 2 00's after the $175
The pendant that you found is a Grateful Dead Bear. It is in the video around 22:41. It is probably from the same time period as some of the pennies.
Nice work!
Hi J.D. nice place would mind staying there nice getting the old Penny's I wish you could have got some silver while I was watching I leap hoping you would get silver next time just love your videos.
Great videos
hey JD
man that was an awesome hunt ,,so many wheaties ,, that little pendant was weird (wonder what it was )
I'm going out now to search around some old gold rush cabins,,( I hope I find some buried jar of gold)
good luck & happy hunting my friend
You need to get one of those LED ball caps that have heads lights on the bill.
It seems as though there should be more there, it's possible that people have hit it before without the owner's permission. Nice place though!
The Mad Badger or maybe some fill dirt was brought in after they added on to the house.
*I LIKE YOUR VIDEOS ... KEEP GOING THE GOOD WORK ...!!! THANKS ...!*
That bee freaking jump scared the crap out of me! WHY!???
What machines do you use
What a neat idea..about renting a place then metal detecting. Gonna use your great idea!
JD, I was just wondering if you might have found some silver if you had pulled out your old trusty eTrac machine and gone back over some spots you found wheat cents. I bought a couple houses in Cumberland Maryland recentlyone of them had a barber shop in the basement with a crawl space on one side can I use a pinpointer to find anything in there are the accurate enough
What time does this start tomorrow
That last thing you found with the ring in the centre looks like a car battery terminal .
Where is this located
How much does a place like this cost to buy?
@35:15 lead post off a car battery?
That's what it is. You beat me to it. :)
It's so cool that you like bumblebee's like me. I also pet them.
That lead object looks like an old battery post.
Any word on the Beagle puppy?
People used to pay for their mail to the mailman in the mailbox. Coins may be there. You need to see if the area where the old road used to be is paved over or not.
35:41 look like contact from lead-acid car battery for me
Fun adventure!
That is cool that you do that, paid $ 175.00 to metal detect at this bed and breakfast. You should have kept the quartz it could of had fine gold in it.
Can't believe you found the gold coins that's great
That clump of lead you found near the end is an old ball joint.
Ball joints are made of steel, not lead. looks like part of a car battery post.
Robert Henry yeah, led would be to soft for a ball joint. Your right! The knuckle just looked odd to me.
JD, great to see ya here in my neck of the woods buddy. I really, really, really truly wanted to see you dig an Indian Head. While you're here, find a stretch of abandoned RR tracks and swing over the roadbed. Be careful of some places in the blue ridge though and see ya soon buddy.
That chunk of lead may be a battery terminal.
What did you do with the Dancing Bear?
Sup jd love you videos
LOL. Grateful Dead dancing bear pendant.
that "truck" is a scrapper used to move massive amounts of dirt on big excavation jobs, it looks like a Cat 613 scraper
hey that big chunk of lead looks like a 12 volt battery stude
Strange pendant is a dancing bear... It is a greatful dead icon. Greatful dead was the "Hippy" band from the 60's, 70'sand 80's psychadelic rock.
I don’t think I’ll forget that this place was built in 1890 and an addition was built in 1940.
I do believe that large lead and steel piece you found was an old battery post.
I’m scared in the dark, ur brave pretty much my friend
Looks like that thing you thought was a chunk of lead looks like the top to a ground rod with an acorn clamp attached. Someone probably cut it with a mower blade. I bet that made a racket lol.
Are you in North Carolina?
Hold onto that bear. I cant recall at this moment but its def vintage. Let it rattle around a bit n i know it will come to me. Cute place. My son n i were looking to find a place but more western states.
How are you able to tell with that silver plate with all that dirt on it I’m just interested in what you look for
That's a Grateful Dead dancing bear..
That's a grateful dead bear
your lead gizmo looks like a battery terminal.
When are you going to make a new video of metal detecting only?
I’m thinking about asking my grandparents if I can metal detect their farm, it’s at least a 100 ish years old
isaac zerke you really should ask it would be fun to do I am metal pirate girl and say go for it they will be happy to have you do it I bet
I like fried chicken
I would invest in a headlight band if you are going to metal detect at night. Home depot has some nice ones.
The pendant is so cute
I found a 1916 D wheaty a while back. Oldest coin for me so far. I’ve only been doing this for a couple of months
