  • Way back when the Disney Channel showed actual Disney-related content, the space between programs was filled with interstitials such as this. Host Eric Boardman, a frequent Disney Channel contributor at the time, takes guests behind the scenes at Walt Disney Imagineering for a look at the history and technology of Audio-Animatronic technology.

My mom goes nuts over the Audio Animatronics on the triceratops that appear in the Primeval World scene of the Disneyland Railroad, because she liked these dinosaurs a lot when she was a kid.

Thank you for this. I had this segment and several others taped and would rewatch them non-stop. This takes me back.

This statement is too true. Disney Channel is now nothing but a bunch of unfunny live-action sitcoms pandering to the lowest common denominator. The only time the channel is watchable is when Tangled: The Series or any Disney animated film is on (why Disney Channel has the broadcasting rights to Despicable Me, a film belonging to Universal, their biggest rival, is beyond me).
