robbie m matty saw potential in them and. Helped them out for a few songs but they seem to have stuck with the same tunes and aesthetics matty gave them. I’m sure they would be a good original band if they just did there own thing.
[Verse 1] Baby, we used to drive in your car What happened to us? Yeah, we didn't make it very far I never thought that we would end up like this Until you gave me your last kiss We slept on the floor all night I fell in love with you as the seconds went by Can you tell me just what changed your mind? [Bridge] 'Cause you were obsessed with me like we were 17 And you struggled to keep your hands off me But now look at us now Somehow we drowned [Chorus] I just want you one more time I just want you one more time Won't you give me one last night? With you, with you [Verse 2] It's been 3 months now, can we talk it out? How you left me standing outside the front of your house Saw you through the window crying on the stairs I thought you didn't care [Bridge] I just wanna pull you close But there's walls in-between Can't we just go back to when we were 17? [Chorus] I just want you one more time I just want you one more time Won't you give me one last night? With you, with you [Bridge] I lie awake and think how we used to be, we used to be And you'd do all the little things that make me weak They made me weak I just want you one more time I just want you one more time Won't you give me one last night with you? [Outro] I just want you one more time I just want you one more time Won't you give me one last night? With you, with you I just want you one more time I just want you one more time Won't you give me one last night? With you, with you
I found them while scrolling through a goth playlist and then i had really started to listen to them more and more. that goth rabbit hole was worth a dig.
They are amazing live, I am going to be so sad when they get bigger and there are no more small & intimate concerts. Best time of my life and I met them all that night. They are such sweethearts.
Good to see the rest of the band in this vid. They have been pushing Heather without band too much in my opinion. She'll either burn out before she gets good or go total diva and the band will implode at this rate.
Every other video seems to be a bit of a parody/reference to another music video. "Heavenly" was reminscent of the Back Street Boys. This one reminds me of some 90's metal or something.
Just saw them live and they sound fucking fantastic and Heather has a great stage presence. Also shout out to Miya Frolick, she was the second opener for the show and KILLED it, pure vocal talent and stage presence as well, became a fan on the spot.
their music may sound the same but each song has a different message and different beats. i love it. i love how open she is in her videos. it is so her. this band is truly amazing.
Patrik Hjorth, You are right/I agree!! And despite Loving Placebo sense their 1st record, that song & it's video; I didn't think of that. Should've, but it's been a While sense I saw that vid. I say it's inspiration/paying homage to an Iconic band w/a few similar themes & not "ripping off" as some will prob. say. (not saying You're saying that..) Placebo really has such stellar videos, esp. many earlier ones, such as 36 Degrees dir. by Chris Cunningham; one of my favorites. But, Maybe this vid (the director prob. more so than Pale Waves themselves..or both, idk..) is Also paying homage to The White Stripes a bit as well. And I never thought about it, but maybe Jack White even got some inspiration from that classic Placebo video, but made it into part of a concept for he & Meg's band's color scheme; never thought of that possibility. Anyway though, really great catch there!! And to all, for the the record: I truly Love Every artist/band I mentioned here; a Lot. Sure P.Waves are new, but I feel (esp. now after hearing their full debut LP..), they show much promise to grow even more through the years; esp. compared to Many other new "rock"/ect bands coming out of the UK/US/ect., many which are drivel. Also those saying P.Waves' tracks all "sound the same" (I disagree, but only Opinion..), just look at some other band's early work/debut LP's & how MUCH they grew over the years. Radiohead is a nice example w/their debut LP's sound. Then even the 2nd LP being very different & their sound/styles continuing to vary Much more through the years; you know? But, just My personal Opinions on art is all. Excellent new video here though & I feel one of their best!! - @deadpopstar
The way she loves in front of the camera, the way she lies on the floor and some of the settings reminds me of Gerard ways posture in mcr music videos especially “I’m not ok I promise” she also has the same style and hair I LOVE THIS SO MUCH
Wide angle and claustrophobic view makes it feel like singer is getting into viewer's personal space. Unsettling is what the director of photography and band was going for? It is working.
this has a very early to mid 90's feel. they for sure we're doing this purposely it seems. Check out "I Think I'm Paranoid" by Garbage. you'll see very many similarities among these two videos despite the different eras they are in.
this band every time surprises me more. They are incredible and will go far, more than what they are already achieving. Hopefully one day they can come to Argentina, I would like to be able to enjoy listening to them live our 🖤
A pesar de que esta banda me dió 2 strikes y se podría decir que fue el motivo por cual mi canal fue cerrado, debo decir que su música me gusta a pesar de lo sucedido. I love Pale Waves 🖤
guys, placebo’s teenage angst video concept has become iconic and has been used over and over again in several songs mv (not okay, mcr). when it’s this similar, they’re hardly copying, more paying homage.
Anyone get that 90's/00s pop rock vibe from this and eighteen?
Feels like Avril Lavigne, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and Hayley Williams made a collab together
The video really reminds me teenage angst by placebo. Maybe it was inspired by it...
@@ToddKeck98 I really want to know where u see taylor swift or katy perry in this...
@ViZu Restart she does have some taylor swift in her voice. and the chorus is reminiscent of the type of songs katy perry used to make
Esta es lq característica de la Banda...
Heather just casually messing with the rest of the band while they're trying to play the song
Actually Matty with the 1975
HarriotSkelli like the 1975 I swear to god she’s the most unoriginal artist
robbie m matty saw potential in them and. Helped them out for a few songs but they seem to have stuck with the same tunes and aesthetics matty gave them. I’m sure they would be a good original band if they just did there own thing.
robbie m I mean I do like one of there songs (television romance) I just want to see them be independent which is happening gradually
HarriotSkelli or they're the ones she's singing about wanting back.
this video looks like teenage angst by placebo
Is there a greater compliment?
There is not.
this too
holyhotpockets exactly what I was thinking
Sorry guys, have to disagree.... can't stand the whiny din of Placebo. Thankfully this sounds nothing like them and is a thousand times better.
Buffle Thweeb ? We were talking about the video itself, not the music
this band is literally being my teenage vibe, it's so fucking good
[Verse 1]
Baby, we used to drive in your car
What happened to us?
Yeah, we didn't make it very far
I never thought that we would end up like this

I just want you one more time
I just want you one more time
Won't you give me one last night?
With you, with you
[Verse 2]
It's been 3 months now, can we talk it out?
How you left me standing outside the front of your house
Saw you through the window crying on the stairs
I thought you didn't care
[Bridge]
I just wanna pull you close
But there's walls in-between
Can't we just go back to when we were 17?

this is an excellent song, i like it very much
Every single song is a bop tbh im not suprised.
cos they all sound the same
oh hey trixie, also i agree
I just found this band and as soon as I heard them I went "Wow, they sound so similar to The 1975" and I like them. New favourite.
Yeah same here
Well thats because they are a band on The 1975s very own label. Matty and Co. Basically produced their album.
I discovered them because they opened at The 1975’s concert. They’re amazing live
Same here :)
Same
She looks like a goth Aurora in this video 🤭
Immediately thought of Aurora too!
yeah if she starts staking meth 🤣
Lol, spot on.
Wich aurora? Do you mean Aurora aksnes? :O
@@spacelore1210 yesss☺️
I loveeee them!
¿Para cuándo un Miércoles de misterio?
You look like it
YES
I love them to
Me too
I’m 52 and love their music. She has a sweet voice. Found them because of “Catfish” on MTV.
They were on catfish?
@@XX_VIO yeah what the heck lol
Same here. But I found them on random on Spotify
I found them while scrolling through a goth playlist and then i had really started to listen to them more and more. that goth rabbit hole was worth a dig.
you're 50 and watching catfish? Cool.
They are amazing live, I am going to be so sad when they get bigger and there are no more small & intimate concerts. Best time of my life and I met them all that night. They are such sweethearts.
All good things must come to an end for better things, what matters are the memories. Memories last till you die.
@@arsenix8401 Really well said. thank you so much for that.
Damn this comment aged like fine wine. Can't believe how much bigger they've gotten
Watching this in the Coronavirus pandemic realising this could be my new look 🖤
Depois de 1 ano, será que mudou o visual?
Oh and I know red's your favourite colour 🖤🖤🖤🖤
Reds my favorite colour
Current favorite song! Red!
Not sure if they are aiming for a different look per video...But I like this one.
Same

Every other video seems to be a bit of a parody/reference to another music video. "Heavenly" was reminscent of the Back Street Boys. This one reminds me of some 90's metal or something.
They have to change something, all their songs sound the same.
...I'm ashamed of how accurate this statement is.
Just saw them live and they sound fucking fantastic and Heather has a great stage presence. Also shout out to Miya Frolick, she was the second opener for the show and KILLED it, pure vocal talent and stage presence as well, became a fan on the spot.
This makes me so happy. I'm so glad music like this is still being made.
Heather with straight hair 😍 The band looks amazing in this
Browless baron gracie is legendary. Bring her back 🖤 it makes your eyes look beautiful!

My Mind makes noises is one of my favorite albums in such a long time it's always on repeat
Is Jack White ok?
That was my immediate thought when I saw the thumbnail
This is the best comment I've ever seen
MY EXACF THOUGHTS

It's like the 80's and the 90's had a baby who grew up in the 2000's.
This has such a 90's pop rock vibe and I absolutely love it 💕🙌🏼

80's synthpop is back people!
That kind of voice very easy to stuck in my head even though the mv is hillarious
Pop Perfection, there are like five bangers like this on the first album, second is slowly growing on me
Wow. I just got transported to the 90’s
Back to 90's
Oh my god this is like a flashback to the 90s when it comes to music videos xD
I kept liking each of their tracks more than the last. Now I'm thinking once you've heard one, you've heard them all.
one of my favorite tracks on the album along with Red and the classic Television Romance !
This song is magnificent!
Urm...
