It should be called dhamm lipi not brahmi lipi.

Dham lipi is Thai lipi, I guess. This is Brahminlipi only.

@@ladakhthroughages.6286 But the Ambedkarian (Indian) Buddhist call it Dhamm lipi instead of Brhami lipi. According to them the Brhamins coined the word Brhami to the script. You know that Brahamin use sanskrit but these scripts seems different which is much much older than sanskrit. 🙏

To my knowledge, Sanskrit is the oldest language, as the worlds oldest written scriptures of Veda and Upanishads are in Sanskrit. What Dr Ambedkar has said should be something like we Ladakhis most of the time call CHOS for Tibetan script, meaning that dharma is written in Tibetan script and it has come down to Ladakh from Tibet.

@@ladakhthroughages.6286 Pali or Prakrit is the language of the masses during the time of Buddha. Sanskrit is the language of post Maurayan kings from which language like Devnagri(Hindi) and Tibetan script(Bhoti) came.

@@Skmax673 Sanskrit is 3000 years old. Rigveda is considered the oldest written scripture 600 BC, much much before Buddha. That's my understanding. To say Sanskrit is during or after Mauriyan empires is absolutely wrong in my understanding. You may check it back and let me know, if I m wrong. I shall remain Grateful 🙏
