Creature comforts such as toilets and air-conditioning are necessary for ensuring a livable environment for the LP and the ALP, so that they can discharge their duties at their peak efficiency without fatigue. However, a major need of the hour is a surge in locomotive production. We have to use WAG-5, WAG-7 and WAG-9 locos for many passenger services because there are no passenger electric locos available for the regular services, which is not ideal because despite these locos having the TE for hauling passenger rakes, the acceleration is too slow to gain any good average speed in any section.
If this refit/rebuild would slow down loco production, that would create more problems than it solves.
Also, Vande Bharat expresses are not the solution because they are too premium for regular passenger services.
Coming to the Amrit Bharat Expresses, they are not a standalone solution again, because making these sets consumes TWO locomotives per trainset compared to one, which exacerbates the loco shortage.

🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳👌👌First railways shd think of making all fast trains ie long distage nd above 800kms trains run esp in ndls-bpl section w bpl as hub ie 700kms fm ndls run in 8hrs flat all trains gng above 800kms w limited stops ie 300-400kms srops which can alternate on alternate runs or provide 700kms vande rajdhani trains exclusively for all passengers raising section speeds to 8hrs later 7hrs ie 100kmph avg speed this must b done for atleast 10 sections of 800kms across the country ❤️❤️❤️🇮🇳🇮🇳 rest of the trains or even VB can do 20hr runs a day straight w 8hrly passes or tickets made available...
❤Avg speed 100kmph
❤Max 2 stops in 7-800km

❤Rajdhani/vb services
❤Alternate stops allocated
❤Runs HRLY or each hr from both ends ie ndls/bpl,/varanasi,/ratlam /Vadodara /Panvel to start w nd all further trains run as grids or seemlessly ticket availability from pt a to b

Chalte hue pressure aa gaya to rukne ka wait karenge kya. Tab to yeh complete waste hain. Loco pilot ke comfort ke liye hain ya trouble ke liye.

Safety First. Loco mein 2 loco pilots hote hai, koi bhi galti undono mein se kisi ne bhi ki to, naukri dono ki jayegi sath mein.

Yeh sharm ki baat hai ki Railways toilet jaisi ek necessity ko locopilots k liye luxury k taur pe market kar rha hai 😡. Locomotive mei toilet lagane se kya hi nuksaan ho jata? 4-5 lakh rupya extra parta zyada se zyada. Abhi karo paise kharch naye locos mei or purane ko refit karne pe 😂

World mein kisi bhi railway system mein toilet wale "locomotives" nahi hai EXCEPT America.
Ab aapko samajh mein aa jani cahiye ki locomotive mein toilet fit karna kitna tough & complex kaam hai.
Upar se toilet ka gate tabhi khulegi jab train ruki hui ho, chalti train mein toilet use nahi kar sakte loco pilots, to fir locomotive mein toilet dene ka koi mtlb hi nahi reh jata hai. Agar train rokna hi hai to loco pilot to niche utar kar loco ke just piche lage coach ka toilet bhi to use kar sakte hai.

Plus, maanlo ki train ruki hui hai, to kya guarantee hai ki itne short notice mei locopilot kisi coach se ho ayga? Passenger trains ka agar maan v lo to freight trains mei kya haal hoga socha hai? Americans most cases mei truck or locomotive design practical rakhte hai

Purani cheej to hii toor maror ke hi peesh kar rahi haii railways.. kyunki passenger class me mujhe nahi lagta alge 10 saal tak railways 150+ speed pe operate nhi kar payega..
