It was also a tradition at the University of Maryland for its Chapel Choir to end each performance with the Lutkin Benediction. Still recall each note of the bass line after 48 years. So beautiful.
James Jordan taught me this when I was at Lewisburg High School. I feel privileged to have learned under him at such a young age. My love of choral music has gone with me my entire life.
I sang with the Ambassadors of Song at Frankford High School, and the Valparaiso Chapel Choir under Kroger and Flemming. This performance makes me sad that the Westminster tradition is dying.
Bem aventurado é quem ouve e recebe a bênção, crendo que essa bênção é para nos hoje.

I love it. Bless the Lord
It's been 35 years since I was at WCC, and I still remember every note of the tenor line. Amazing choral tradition.
Same here, 34 years later, directed by Joseph Flummerfelt (a quite different sound than this performance).
@@sophelet Cheers from a fellow graduate.
