How sturdy are balloon columns without the support of a base vs one with a water weight or sand weight? Would you recommend them for a setup in a ballroom or large venue for a party or not? Trying to look for an affordable yet still great turnout for my client parties.
The columns with 5 pack clusters (like the columns in this video) or 6 pack clusters with a good sized balloon weight will be sturdy. One of my events this week was a graduation, client has booked 5 times since last May and every column has been without a stand :)

If I added more of the quick links and smaller balloons to give me a larger arch would the top start to sag or fall over?
You can add a few more links. If you add too many and it starts to lean just remove some :)
Another thumbs up for sharing another great air filled design. Can't wait to see your balloon pump review video, I have the same pump and love it. Have been wondering about upgrading to the new design so will be interested to hear your views. Also do you have any luck sizing 5" balloons with it is as this is something I don't seem to have any luck with although it's great for 11" plus.
Thank you so much! I always use the hand pump for the 5". I'm not sure if we adjust the speed dial it may work for 5", but I just got the speed dial to the perfect spot :) I don't think the blue one is good for 5", but the new one says it's good for all size round balloons.

I bought it from Aliexpress. I will send you a link for a newer version of this pump. It can be off a little sometimes, but for the price it's not bad :) Looking up link now. I am thinking about buying the newer version (I believe it's pink) and doing a review/demo.

Beth White You don't count the seconds, you set the seconds on the machine. There is also a speed dial. I will explain in the video :)

The pink new version would be the best one, it's supposed to be more accurate when auto sizing.

How does the balloon arch stay up with air filled balloons and not helium. I made one with my air machine and it won't stay up because the link balloons doesn't have helium. Please help
How many links did you use and did you tie them tight together?
I used 8 links at first and then I used 12 and for neither one did the arch stay up, it kept sinking in In the middle
Miesha Johnson With the 8 it should have stayed up, not sure why it didn't. Maybe the balloons were not tied tightly together.
I had the same issue as well I ended up having to tie the center quick link to a fishing line and stapled it to the ceiling. also the weight didn't hold up well at all the bottom kept moving around and the curling ribbon would stretch it's self out and become lop I.
Ramon Mac Sorry I just saw your message. I'm not sure why it didn't work for you. Have you tried again since that time and did it work for you? I did another arch with link balloons recently.
