It wasn't to long ago that it was reversed, back in the day before AMD Radeon existed it was called ATI and their 4870 had 800 shaders which was easily beaten by a GTX 270 with only 210... Thats reversed now, a 4060 comes with 3072 and a RX 7600 only has 2048 yet their raster is the same. AMD will figure out a solution for raytracing it's only a matter of time
Yeah but even if the card is exceptional it doesn't have the software suport from third party it need to compete with ngreedia, my Radeon VII is still a beast but with every app demanding CUDA acceleration or even Raytracing cores

NVIDIA convinced computer noobs that DLSS and ray tracing is a necessity and game changing. It isnt. Ray tracing is pointless unless you plan on staring at objects and lightening and not play the game. DLSS is a software downscaler with image retaining not AI and they charge a massive premium for it. Theyve been neck and neck for decades. Same with intel cpus. As for intel in the GPU market good luck. AMD will always undercut nvidia and intel always have.

After seeing Nvidia's gaming revenue, which is likely mixed in with 4090 sales for non gaming purpose. It does seem like gaming GPU doesn't make up a significant market.
Bug Fixes? Give us the cards of the Rx 7000 series with better ray tracing, a bit lower power consumption and by average 30 to 50 bucks cheaper and everyone would be happy. Where's the effin'g problem?😂
The only "problems" I've heard is that they aren't making a graphics card that competes with the 4090/5090, but apart from that, it wouldn't be much of an issue since not everyone needs 4k or even 1440p gaming.
I'm just sad they won't have enthusist class cards wich will force me back to Nvidia at some point. Wich sucks cause over all I enjoy my 7900xt but if they don't do high end cards anymore I can't really upgrade to a new AMD. AMD had their "Zen" moment with RDNA2. I dont know what more you want than the same performance for half the money nvidia was asking. It didnt work. Its completely understandable that theyre going back to the mid range and even scaled rdna 3 back from what it couldve been. Its costly to develop and manufacture high end gpus when nobody is buying them regardless of how powerful and cheap they are. Current GPU prices are 99% the consumers fault. They wanted this.

Well firstly, DLSS 4 likely wont be supported on 40 series though. Whereas all future versions of FSR will likely be supported. So the DLSS advantage is temporary. For example my 3080 is limited to dlss 2. When FSR 4 comes out i will likely end up using that instesd. Of course, DLSS 2 was much better than FSR 2.... But I cant have DLSS 3 or 4. Meanwhile as FSR continues to develop it becomes the better option Secondly, higher vram is a huge + for AMD

Is this while gaming? Higher cpu utilization lowers download speeds. Or specifically the write speed to the drive. The 6950XT is more powerful so could be allowing your cpu to hit 100% utilization which will lower write speeds

I have a 6950xt and i still get a 15% decrease to my download speed a year later....but my 2070 is getting the full 1000mb
