Just thought of him. Sorry to hear he's been gone awhile. Thanks for the video. I guess I was priviledged to see him several times during my two visits to San Francisco in the early 80's. I remember the butterfly outfit. A guy who could make you laugh to help relieve the stresses of the day.

A family friend. We sooo miss him. His dad was a noble laureate in chemistry. Booby had degrees in chemistry and clownsmanship We hung out with Booby at Charlie Daniel’s place. Giant speakers playing of all things, weather report, mysterious traveler. Used to juggle in black light to music in married student housing at Peabody.

This has been my favorite performing I’ve seen of butterflyman.

Robert was one of the coolest, funniest, kindest, meanest(in the nicest way) greatest dudes ever. I miss him already.

I was sure that he didn't just drink from a real baby bottle--that had to be staged, but now I'm not sure. He really might have done that. Man, he was a ballsy performer.
