I was misdiagnosed with personality disorder though the neurologists i spoke to a few days ago said mental health teams are trying to umbrella everything now, its so damaging.

By any chance, do you do any video call coaching to help parents of children with rage attacks as part of their neurodivergent symptoms? We are in Australia and it seems we have tried so many things with very little improvements for our son. It's so hard to know when he is being a child with chosen behaviour that requires discipline versus the times when he has no control. More times than not, I know the difference. But there's about 1/3 of the time where im left guessing and that's hard to discipline when you don't know if it was voluntary or not. Also, we need direction on which specialists to see and more.

As a parent of foster child with Tourettes & rage attacks, we always presume they aren't in control. It does feel as if they are, our foster child tics in context which is very difficult for us to cope with. Their outbursts & rage attacts are the same.
They need understanding & support -it feels so authdntic and as if they "mean or intend" the behaviours.
They don't, but it is very tricky to recognise that for them & us. Always presume it is not intentional. Don't talk or respond in the moment if possible.
If it feels bad for you, it is so much worse for them.

Romy, do you think PANS patients remember afterward what they did during the rage attack ?

Sometimes we do, sometimes we don't. The memory of it can be hazy but if we did something major during the rage we may remember that.
