We've been so familiar with the meta decks, the edit of fast-forwarding the cooking is a nice touch since we already know what's gonna happen in the end.
Dogwood stops OTK decks from 1 turn killing. Basically it will give a turn (maybe more) to try to draw an out if you have to. But thats really all its for (minus niche strategies)
I don't know how people think Bystials are going to go down in usage when P.U.N.K. and Dragon Link are among the most popular decks in the format. Tearlaments becoming more backrow heavy and reliant on outside engines to mill doesn't mean people will stop playing them(the OCG is obsessed), and both Virus and Furniture heavy builds of Labrynth are also extremely vulnerable to them. Speaking of Labrynth and Tearlaments, backrow is going to be extemely important this format as more people find ways to go into Chaos angel. Bystial builds are going to want to consider Lubellion to activate a Beast from deck just to pop that alongside problem backrow, just playing 3 or 4 of the names isn't enough if your deck doesn't have its own renoval via Spell/Traps(and even Regained + Beast can sometimes clear on their own).
PUNK is all earth monsters except ogre dance and foxy tune but once they’re in the grave their effects have been burned anyway. Hitting a Chaos Ruler that has already been sent to the grave is a minor inconvenience to the deck. The Bystial against punk more often than not end up being bricks in the hand the only reason to play Bystials is if they advance your engine in this meta
Bystial cannot do anything against PUNK unless you opened god hand Baldrake and Druiswurm. 90% of cards in PUNK deck are all Earth, with an exception of Foxy and Dancing Orge, and banishing two of them do not interrupt PUNK players
The problem with Swordsoul, they don't have "real" 1-card full combo. They always need 2nd Wyrm/Swordsoul cards to make a play, and they must be in the right place, depending what Swordsoul monster you draw. But this deck is still good, he just very unlucky with those bricks.

wow Runick Spright Fur Hire is so strong, can play through ash and imperm , it has ridiculous end board, the ability to recycle and interrupts also has the ability to draws. also have 2-win cons: whether to deck out your opponent or just OTK... might be the answer for Pure Spright after the ban lists..

Long -> Pitch Adhara -> Summon token and make Baronne Summon Taia -> Banish Adhara -> Summon token and make Grandmaster Thats multiple negates is it not? - issue would be if they drew ash or something but still, its better than just passing and ending turn? (you could even just go Baronne to limit draws) Summon nothing and basically throw the game or let them draw minimum 3, maximum 5 and potentially have multiple negates
You give them at minimum 3 draws by only making baronne. That's a HUGE advantage for your opponent and breaking just baronne off the board when you have +3 cards is very, very easy. If you gave them grandmaster as well, that'd be giving the opponent 5 draws. Might as well surrender at that point by giving them such a massive advantage. Edit: We can also see that the baronne negate would be immediately used up when the opponent uses Nibiru if you're summoning grandmaster as well. So not only will you lose your omni negate, the opponent would be +4 and your board isn't that amazing for such a huge advantage you gave the opponent.

Because they always need 2-card combo to make a play; 1 Swordsoul name and 1 Wyrm/Swordsoul card, an the other cards should be in the right place depend what Swordsoul you draw. It different like other deck that can make a play with 1 specific name and they can search them easier, like Exosister with Martha, Rikka with a lot of 1-card starter, and PUNK with Ze Amin and any other cards. In Swordsoul, maybe Ecclesia is the 1-card full combo, but we don't have additional way to add this card to hand, beside hard draw it. . I prefer Swordsoul going 2nd because you can "unbrick" your hand from Maxx "C" or extra 1-draw. Or if you still brick, the board breaker usually give a time if your opponent do full combo before and cannot recover fast after board wipe.

Red dragon archfiend needs to target before it negates. If the target leaves the field, then it can not negate.
