Debra has been in active recovery for 24 years, and says that recovery has helped her replace the hurt and pain she once felt in addiction, with joy and happiness and satisfaction.
She feels she can do her part to end stigma around addiction by sharing her story and showing that recovery is possible, no matter how deep or dark your past may be.
