I must actually like authority figures lol as soon as the Bucks took over the intro i was hype!
As someone who was at the show, we were fairly loud and had various chants throughout the night. But when i rewatched the show, you could barely hear us. I don’t know if it's AEW audio mixing, or the way our arena is built, but it sucks that we didn't translate well to television.
Really sorry for you. It really didn't translate well to the screen. AEW needs to learn from this, which venues to book. There is like one element off each week currently. This time it was the noise level. It is almost like a curse. :(
I heard it just fine. You guys sounded great. I have a soundbar with my TV. Some people seem to be watching on their phone or something lol
Kinell Sidge, comparing a 50 year old Copeland against buddy Matthew’s on a random dynamite in front of the quietest crowd against perhaps the greatest match ever at a wrestlemania between two of the greatest of all time is nuts man!
I thought it was one of the best Dynamite episodes in a long time for me. Solid matches, fun segments and several storyline developments that are looking like it will be another incredible PPV.

I thought Marich v Serena had good in-ring stuff but the crowd was DEAD once again...but what I really liked about this was the end. You KNOW Toni had alternate motives (not wanting Mariah to succeed and having to face her) for throwing in the towel. Other than the crowd I really enjoyed this and can't wait to see where the Toni/Mariah story goes. Great stuff.
Sidge is really killing the vibe. He goes too deep on an industry that is by all accounts goofy. WWE is and has been just if not more goofy, as has TNA, WCW, and yes even in the territory days. Wrestling is not theater. Anyone who thinks it is is lying to themselves and by all accounts goofy as well. It's escapism, some is better than others, but the best stuff comes in waves.
As someone else who was at the show, it was load. I will agree that some matches could have shaved time off, but there is no MJF to fill that free time and for some reason AEW seems to forget that a few shorter matches can be just as good.
Scapegoat Perry isnt the All In match, keep an eye on him and Swerve at Forbidden Door. I think Hangman after his full turn will be Swerve's All In opponent if his title run goes that long.
For Brits who dont watch hockey (and apparently a lot of u do) go back and look up NHL Goalies without masks and the injuries they would get (Esp if u can find Jacques Plante and his face after he took the puck to the face and then decided to wear a mask). It is INSANE.
Sounds like someone who just doesn’t like fun. This one was of the best episodes of dynamite in recent history. Top to bottom I enjoyed it.
Another subtle detail i noticed was instead of going to commercial break while the heel gets the upper hand they switched it it was subtle but i noticed. Did anyone else notice that? I thought it was a cool, small thing that was completely different then when tony is in charge. Small detail i really liked.

I was genuinely put off by Matthews - Cope and I guess it's because I got worked, because I was really concerned that like Matthews had punctured a lung or something and obviously he was fine if he continued the match and I guess he just maybe bit down on like a capsule in his mouth or bit his cheek or something, but it was just so uncomfortable because there's been precedent set in AEW for matches continuing after someone has been seriously injured and it should have been stopped.
Oddly enough I didn't feel much during the Omega segment aswell, it looked and seemed like something I should have been more hyped for but if anything I was just more glad to see Kenny be closer to in ring action again. I was actually enjoying the Ghostbusters era of Elite and now I'm just kinda meh about things at the moment and I can't exactly explain why.

Crowd took me out of the matches but I loved the story telling throughout and am very excited to watch next weeks Dynamite.
Disagree with most of sidges complaints here gotta quit thinking with your wwe brain and let it play out on the heel authority angle. Also Christian cage vs swerve was a great fun angle. You just got to ease back a little and realize its incredibly rare and hard to get omega page its in a better place then last year and they are clearly building programs for the first time in awhile with clear heels and babyfaces which was your major complaint for months

7:36 Honestly I don't know if they announced it last week but personally I wouldn't have announced Omega to appear. Its the Cm Punk at First Dance. People were 99% sure Punk was going to be there but the fact that it hadn't been said for sure made it big. I do think it would've been a bigger deal and bigger cheer if Omega hadnt been announced beforehand. For example I would've have in the main event the YBs screwing over Swerve and then Omega comes out saying 'I can't wrestle but Im a EVP As well" then have (i would say Jericho because Winnipeg but ehhhhh.... the live crowd would love it but fans wouldnt) Edge/Adam Copeland.

I HATE to admit this but Jericho has me interested in him again. I HATED seeing him on TV for months but now I'm interested to see how much of an a-hole he's going to be. I had fun watching the match and seeing Jericho being a HUGE d-bag is hilarious. Again... I HATE that I like this.

Sidgeick is letting perfection be the enemy of the good. Ive been listening to this show since 2019 and I cant anymore. The constant negativity is disjointed from how AEW makes me feel weekly. Stop putting AEW on a pedestal and enjoy the ride.
Okada has looked pretty mid in recent years. Pac looked more of a star in their match.
I think any fan of Home Movies knows how to get a toddler to stop from putting a small object, let's a marble perhaps, in their nose......

@@blakemyers643 yeah incredible taste. Two guys in a wrestling match standing and chopping each other for 5 minutes. So entertaining. A real unique spot, oh wait no it isn’t. It happens every single match in AEW. Only this time it took the absolute piss with how long it went for.
