Here’s another great uncharted cover song from my collection. “LAST NIGHT I DREAMED” is from Nicky Addeo’s 1996 CD release titled “TUNES FROM THE TOMB” (a basement recording). “LAST NIGHT I DREAMED”/“SO FINE” was originally recorded by The Fiestas in 1958 on Old Town #1062.
Nicky Addeo singer, songwriter, performer and producer is, without exception, one of the great voices of our time. He is also known for recording and performing many wonderful Italian songs!
Nicky Addeo, who was born and raised in NJ with Asbury Park roots, is no stranger to the music industry. Besides having have written & produced songs for many other artists, he has written songs for motion pictures: PRETTY LADY, LOVELY LADY for the film “War Of The Roses” starring Danny DeVito, Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner; LET’S MAKE LOVE TONIGHT for the film “Hoffa” and WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE for the film “Dumb Luck In Vegas,” just to name a few. In his autobiography, Nicky’s good friend Bruce Springsteen called Nicky 'the real deal with a falsetto that could send shivers up satan's spine.’
Nicky is very active in his community. He was recently awarded a Certificate of Recognition by the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders for his dedication, commitment and lifetime of invaluable public service to his community.
