i think most people in nowadays is depressed, and ghibli music makes me reflexive about life... so it does makes sense, doesn`t it?
Becuase Miyazaki also gets it. Despite the fanciful and vibrant worlds and works he creates, Miyazaki does so because he sees the bleakness of the world we live in. Its why he gave us the places to escape. And those places have been with many of us since our childhood. We sit here and we feel like Chihiro; afraid that we are forgetting who we are in the pursuit of our goals. We feel like Kiki; experiencing the pain of realizing we have become disconnected from the things that made life exciting. We feel like Sophie; so afraid to be because the world around us makes us feel so stuck, so lost, and so small.
We feel that existensial pain now in adulthood with a greater intensity than previously thought and our souls cry for renewal. And that tale of rebirth; renewal, and revitalization are all heavy themes in all his work. Please have pitty on us, for we do not wish to disturb your studies. We are simply weary, and wish to be seen.

Im from Bangladesh and i need to get 90+ marks in each & every subject in my intermediate exam to get admitted into the most respected university in our country. It's like a pressure to me. So out of 6 subjects 3 subjects of exam has been held. And i feel like ill get around 88. So i was feeling actually pretty down. I have always dealt with anxiety and depression. I also have a condition that makes me prone to anxiety and depression and stress makes my condition worse. These songs always manage to calm me and help make me feel better. I don’t think Joe Hisashi or the Ghibli team understand how much they’ve helped people. For years I’ve turned to these movies and playlists for self healing. They never fail to make me feel more like myself and less like my condition.💟
And the pictures are also "fantastik". I love them. Remember my childhood in Japan and Germany...

I always love these pieces of art, they are so gentle, subtle and soft, similar to a prescription medicine for soul. I still remember when I traveled to a remote island, when things got tough or there was nothing else to do, I found myself indulge in Ghibli movies most of my time. I have watched almost all of Ghibli short movies, some was repeatedly seen without any boredom as I felt in love with such peaceful theme, just so calm and quiet, enough to console my heart. I kinda hope the feeling will persist forever. Life is always tough, challenging, arduous, full of loss and hopelessness, but they are surely just some specific moments before the sun shines more brightly and sky looks better. Do hope, well I'm glad I got over them all, by praying to myself, I know things will be fine, time elapses, will be alright, as my crush - the one I most believe in but missed - once said " We will eventually be fine". Well, I know destiny is something hard to define, something we can't rely on as it never matches our wants, but we will surely be fine after all.

Great for studying and working
Almost done with a chapter of my education. I will finish my paper and soon walk the stage that my friend wasn't able to. She loved studio ghibli and drew me totoro for my birthday as a surprise, one of my favorite gifts ever. She passed away two years and two days ago. I will cross that stage with her photo in my hand, so that she was able to cross the stage as well. I will continue to work my best and never give up. I will finish my paper. for Brittany Kinow & Professor K, two of the biggest studio ghibli fans.
