  • “Egypt would never watch Palestinian children as they die from starvation, thirst and cold on its borders.”
An Egyptian man records his frustrations over his country’s inaction regarding the Israeli war in Gaza. He criticises Egypt and its military for tarnishing the country’s image and urges them to intervene to stop the war in Gaza, even if it requires joining the conflict.

The Egyptian Military is the second largest crime syndicate in the world (the first is the US military and CIA which are basically one and the same).
The Egyptian military has only around 600,000 combat troops (it doesn't need more as Egypt doesn't plan to go to war against any country).
Around 15,000 high ranking officers in the Egyptian military control approximately a fifth of the entire Egyptian economy.
This translates to 20% of half a trillion USD = 100 billion USD.
The President and his close circle of around 50 trusted officers are the most wealthy as they take in around 20 billlion USD a year between them.
The rest of the 80 billion USD is distributed more or less equally among the officer corps (lower ranking officers take in around 300,000 USD a year, higher.ranking officers 450,000 USD a year and about 1,000 officers take in 600,000 USD a year.
It may not sound like a lot of money if you are Norwegian or Swiss or Singaporean but in Egypt where the average man and woman make 250 - 300 USD a month the amounts are astronomical.
The Egyptian military is not prepared for war nor has it ever been since Anwar Sadat took power.
Egypt will do exactly as it is told bh its masters in Washington, Tel Aviv, Abu Dhabi and Riyadh.
