    Hey guys, just back from a week in beautiful Switzerland and just wanted to say a big thank you for posting your content because it was a huge help. We did 2 nights in Lucerne, 3 in Interlaken amd finished up with 2 nights in Zermatt. The only change I would have made is an extra night in Lucerne to do Appenzell and Santis. Absolutely loved the trip though and cant wait to go back. Pilatus and Gornergrat in particular were unbelievable.

    Which travel pass do you guys recommend for 7 day trip to Switzerland? I am planning to stay in Grindelwald region for 3 days, Interlaken for a day, Zermatt day or two then Lucerne for a day. I want a pass that covers both train and gondolas especially in the Grindelwald region since I have to take lot of cable cars to get to other places from there? I was looking into Swiss half pass but not sure if that covers gondolas? Or do you think just getting Berner Oberland Pass for 3 days worth it?

    Traveling to Switzerland in July, still very confused about which tickets to buy even I have watched your CZcams and others I have planned for the trip and where to go but buying ticket in Switzerland is confusing unlike other EU countries. Thank you for the videos.

    • @menn4h
      @menn4h Před rokem +1

      Have a look at the half fare card for starters as you save 50% on cost of public transport but also on the majority of gondolas and cable cars in the mountain regions. Make an itinerary for what you want to see, price it up and see if half price plus cost of half fare card is less than full price. If so do that. If you are doing multiple trips then look at region pass like berner Oberland which cost more but could save you in the long run. Either way you would have to get an itinerary together and go from there.
