    I use PS CS6 and I don't have the "content aware fill" option (nor the oil painting filter, but I can do the same without it). Is there a way to select which part of the image to use for the fill?

    Awesome! Also why don't use match color method, to match the background and then tweak some colouring with color balance?!!

      That's a great question! You could definitely start by matching the color. :)

      In the filter gallery. It's in the top menu in Photoshop. Filter > Filter Gallery > Oil Paint ;)

      All of the elements I use here are built into Photoshop, no plugins or add-ons. ;)

    hi, when I go through the logan edit>content.. menu, I get the warning ''photoshop could not transform the selected pixels because the inital bouding rectangle is empty'', what should I do?

      Yea, Canva is great for simple edits and graphic design, and Gimp is like a free version of Photoshop that has more advanced features. :)
