How to Make 3 Different Types of Diaper Cakes | DIY Rolled, Squared, & Fanned Diaper Cake Tutorial

- Learn how to build 3 basic diaper cakes; rolled, squared, and fanned. I forgot to mention, for the squared diaper cake, use a couple wooden skewers or thinly rolled paper and slide down the middle of the cake.
What I used:
Rolled Diaper Cake - 63 size 2 diapers (38, 18, 7)
Squared Diaper Cake - 50 size 2 diapers (30, 14. 6)
Fanned Diaper Cake - 50 size 2 diapers (27, 16, 7)
I also used 12", 8", and 6" cake pans
Small elastic rubber bands
Larger rubber bands
13" tall cut pool noodles
Copy paper
Tape

I personally like the fanned cake the best. It looks so pretty. I haven't seen what that type looks like decorated.

After watching your excellent demo, I made a fan type cake which looks so professional! And so much easier for the new Mommy to use than having to unroll 65 diapers! I've made many of the rolled type which are also nice, but this fan type is superior in my opinion. Thanks for the wonderful video!!

so a total of 70 diapers? I try to use every thing baby but definitely have to use the pool noodle as well on some of my cakes. Thank you for sharing
70 is good. I try to use mostly baby items as well. I will experiment with suing a rolled blanket as the center.

How many diapers per layer on the fanned out diaper cake?
Depends on how many you use total. If I use 50, it's 27, 16, 7. But you can add where needed to make the layers look even.
