In this lesson, you will learn what the binomial theorem is, why it is important, and how we can use the binomial theorem to expand binomials that are raised to any power (exponent). The binomial theorem is a formula that allows us to raise any binomial to any exponent (power) and calculate all terms of the binomial expansion. It works by calculating the results of pascal's triangle which are then used as the coefficient for the binomial expansion. The binomial expansion is very important in math but also in physics and engineering. We can often approximate a binomial raised to a power by taking only the first few terms of the expansion which can help us perform more complex calculations in calculus, physics, and other subjects.
You won't get a better teacher than this one. He is so clear and systematic with his teaching. Have learnt so much from this channel. Thank you.
I am confused
So true
Thank you very much 👍
Thank you very much 👍
I agree
One tireless teacher who knows how to keep interesting every topic he is involved with. Thank you.
I cant find the second part
The best teacher I have found online till now!
@Tagar :))
Check out "The Organic Chemistry Tutor" 🙌🥺
Me too
This is the best teacher ever
Soooo he's not the best anymore?
These are helpful especially here in Philippines (far north). We don't use zoom or other ways to communicate with our professor because of low internet connection. I'm glad some of you are doing this and much appreciate it. Keep doing it. 👍👍
Where’s part 2 ?
I’m way past school age but your lessons bestow the confidence necessary to think more critically at work. Thank you
This video is a god sent, you're an incredible teacher. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, and in such an easily understandable way.
Why mark him w/little g
Stop being afraid of what others will think of U
God is our friend.
Give him the big G.
His website is better than the classroom. At 70, I subscribed for my first three years one month ago, and I'm doing two or three lessons per day. It's not just math. He offers a 37-lesson course on using the TI-84 Scientific calculator -- as well as physics, chemistry, engineering and more. THIS membership is a bargain!
If you could share your experiences, what would you say are the benefits of a membership compared to just watching Jason's videos here on CZcams?
He absolutely does deserve the support, though.
Hello
How are u doing today
@@NeinaAbdulMajeed Calculus derivatives with trig functions and the chain rule. It's addictive. I do this. My wife does crossword puzzles. 😁
You’re such a good teacher. You explain so well😭
Why U crying
@@unkown9563 It's tears of gratitude...All the years of struggling, always in the dark with math; then one good teacher comes and turns the light on...
You don’t have to do this to understand maths, these are part or the backbone of additional maths
@@lkern6238 so... hmm... I think.. this kind of scenario leads to this situation where a thing that is hard to find or get was suddenly comes to you and you overjoyed your brain cells actually feels a downward relief from over exerting yourself to find the hardest thing to finding it in front of you which stops you from overexerting very fast and so your brain, muscles, etc., collapse and feels an indifferent feeling and so leads you to comment here "You're such a good teacher. You explain so well 😭" which is true 🤩 have a good day
@@kel1404 no one cares
Thanks man!!!
You are the only one professor that make me understand these theorems about sequences
You are great!!!!
Please keep making these educational videos, very helpful and teaches us in a simple and an understandable way.
I'm in grade 10 - and we were taught (a + b)^2 - I asked my teacher a question before learning the binomial theorem - "Ms. can you tell me what (a + b)^n or any large power should be" - she said "start learning the binomial theorem". And now I'm in love with this beautiful and actually pretty easy theorem.
I'm glad to hear your teachers help you.
When I went to school, they did not care about us.
I missed out, back in the day.
This man & others on youtube offer us old dogs a chance once denied.
Ima think about it...........Happy New Year
Thank you for being an excellent teacher! I just came here after watching a video from a similar sized channel on the same subject. In that video, the teacher wrote many factually incorrect equations on the whiteboard and then expressed frustration when his students didn't understand. So again, thank you for being awesome. Not everyone is.
PERFECT! The textbooks I have for Algebra II treat this subect as if everybody already knows how to do it, and I was lost immediately. Thank you so much. I'm going to work these problems a few times and then move to your next class. Liked. Subscribed. 😎
Best online teacher I've ever seen, thank you very much for the explanations. The explanations are very clear and understandable.
Your explanation is wonderful. I really enjoy your lessons.
You should be teaching teachers your skills. You are amazing.
I don't know what summation is, but watching this video helps me to understand two things! Thanks!
I enjoyed and understood the class so much.
thanks
All the other videos I watched are unclear, but I'm really grateful I ran into this video. You sir explain it so well, nicely done :)
May God bless you for sharing your knowledge with us
This was a very helpful explanation. Thank you!
This is the best and easiest way i understood this topic, thank you Sir!
Please make a video on binomial expansion with negative power [(a+b)^-n]
can someone link me to part 2?
WELL EXPLAINED SIR........I NOW UNDERSTAND BINOMIAL THEORAMS EVEN MUCH BETTER ....THANK YOU
I understood the best . I solved all sums . Thnx for such a nice and to the point explanation . I have no proper words to express my appreciation.
Search , prime newton.
Is also a good teacher
Honestly, in 2008/2009 my teacher didn't explain this theory to me as clear as you've done... what a great teacher you're 👏❤
You teach simple and easy ways to solve problems in mathematics, very good
This is why I WONNA learn abroad 🍾✨easy tutorials. Thanks

Tank You teacher for your classes. I love them.
Sometimes attending all the classes is just a share waist of time when you are not understanding what the lecture is talking about 😒
But your videos always makes it easy for me to understand 😜
Thank you so much 🙏
When’s part 2 coming. I have no idea how to find the independent of x
This really helped me. Thank you!
I am in medical school and can atleast count on you...I swear you are the best teacher and the reason why my country with a few medical doctors is going to be getting a new medical doctor soon
Thanks man you are the only professor that make me understand. you explain very well
If he is the "only" professor that makes you understand, then consider reading math books.
Aren't you slightly embarrassed to admit only a single person on the planet is capable of helping you understand math?
Beautiful explanation, and Miraculous how it works.
found you as the last minute refresher on my way into an exam, thanks, this is the best explanation ive seen
Super clear explanation. Many thanks.
Great teacher; even I can get it now!
Excellent! Thank you.
Please how do I find the second video? I check your channel but I don't know how to search for it can you leave me a link to it?
Thank you for being an excellent teacher !! And I understand you well the lesson

Thank you so much sir for such a detailed explanation. 🙏
You're the best teacher I have met before 🐐
Your teaching made it easier for me to understand this topic.you are amazing, thank you 👍👍
Thanks for this lovely work tutor. Pls does that theorem apply for when the value of n is negative and fraction or when n is less than 1
Your explanation is so wonderful
I appreciate sir. Is the part 2 of this lecture ready? I cant find it sir.
I don't know how to appreciate you efforts...only God knows..thanks for changing world teacher
Man you so .tmrw is my exam and I already watch 3 video but your explanation was perfect and easily understandable from the basic

You are the greatest teacher in the world
Thanks for such a very fantastic explanation!! 🙂👏👍
Guy is so good at explaining , I had less than 1hour to learn this for my final, I speed it up 1.75x and I still was able to understand everything. Thank your Sir
I love you and your lectures
Amazing way of teaching
Thank you so much for breaking this down in simple terms! I was so lost.
How do I thank you
You changed a lot
Alot of difficult topics and chapters and theorems. You made it way easier for me thank you very much ❤❤❤❤
Hello sir do you have the part 2 of this topic binomial theorem
Thank you so much Sir. Indeed you're the best teachers
Thanks! So helpful and understud all the steps. But a question can you solve (a-b)2 the same or sould we wait for upcoming videos?
you would do the same thing, and then make the value of b = -b, and then you could simplify that.
This is what I call perfect teaching 🥺❤
Thank you Sir,very effectively explained 🙏
You have the binomial concept easier for me.Thanks
Excellent explanation sir..🤗
Keep up man.
is part 2 available on the channel ?
youre a great teacher sir
How do I find a specific term using the the binomial theorem formula🙏 please reply me. I need help🙏🙏🙏🙏
(a + b)^n = [nCr] [a]^n-r [b]^r
r = term - 1
Excellent teacher
Great lesson! Where can I find pt2?
