I can't believe it's been 30 years. 1992 was such an exciting time to be alive.
Back to the future 📟 😎
I can only say what I know from a fourth grade perspective.
@@charles1203 Well I was in 5th grade and I can remember it well.
6th grade here(at the time),one of the things I forgot about til now is those breakfast buddies at the beginning with Holyfield were the shit. They didn’t make it out of the 90s,they were discontinued sometime at the end of the decade but fuck they were good. Sorry for the language but remember how fucked up the world we grew up in was?😉
@@michaelblaine6494 I agree 👍
Watching these commercials make me realize that 92 is closer to the 80s than the 90s themselves.
Nah, it was after the decade defining event of the 90s (9/24/91 - Nevermind by Nirvana debuts and subsequently blows hair metal off the radio) - so it was the early 90s but definitively the 90s
The 90’s didn’t really kick off until 1993 I feel anyway. Like I still feel we are not quite in the 20’s yet, not until 2023.
@@owenwexler7214 you mean the LA riots or dessert storm?
I think it feels really 90s..1992 was like starting a new era.. really different from 80s
I know it seemed so far from the 80s at the time but even watching something from 97 you can see how much it was still like the 80s in retrospect
1992 i was 11.
These are my childhood memories lol
Me too 1992 was awesome year i was 9 yrs old wow 30 yrs of memories 😂🤧🤧✌
Word,I was 12. Shit got weird about 10 years later and we’ve been waiting to get back to normal since(not going well)
@@michaelblaine6494 seems it shall never return...
Me too! 😛 I literally CRY for those days. Nostalgia is a very powerful thing 😥🤧
1992 was a good year. After spending the 80s in metal bands I gave the Grunge thing a chance and played in a couple really good bands. I turned 22 in August 92 and was having the time of my life.
What's it like being 52?
@@MrGHawaii Well, chronic pain, declining health, swollen prostate...... I'd say it fells okay to be near 52. Lol!

@@FUCKINGENIOUS He any good?
I’m 1992 I was 12 and wished I was 22,now I still wish I was 22 but still that year🤣. Also Rooster,please tell me that’s an AIC reference
I can’t say I miss 92 because that’s when I was born so I don’t have any memories of it. But man these commercials take me back. I miss the 90’s.
1992 I was only 5 years old this really takes me back to the good old days
Me too 😄🙌
It’s unbelievable how far we’ve collapsed as a society. I know its only television, but it is a small glimpse into our interests then.
We didn’t know it then, but that was the last time the American Dream actually existed.
I hope they found those fifteen missing miners.
1992 was the first of 20 years in the USN. That was a great time in my life. The commercials rocked back then! Wish the brand new cars were still $10-$15K. What a steal.
The year I was born. God I missed commercials from the 90's
I was 18 in 92'. 92 to 96 I had some of the best fun ever in my life.
Seeing cd’s, some of the cool movies? What was a highlight?
Me too i have the best i was 9 yrs old now im almost 40 scary huh 😅😂🥂
I did from 1990-2001.. There were some good years but just not like then.
When commercials were selling products not drugs
I remember as a kid you thought it would have been an honor to work at McDonald’s.
Hell no even as a kid I knew that was an awful and terrible job, that one could ever imagine working at
@@reddymaid7936 not me, I thought, cool uniform, all the food, I thought it would be heaven. As I got older I learned, not quite the case.
I wish this type of marketing came back. I am so sick of pharmaceutical commercials on every platform.
Shredded wheat tastes like wicker furniture.
not as vile as Country Crock.
Had my first born in 92 what a great year that was wish I could go back in time.
I was 15 years old and 92 and that summer was great we had the Barcelona Olympics with our dream team playing a dominating and some great movies coming out
*@**18:04** that commercial struck a nerve.. fell like just seeing it yesterday*
To be 17 again💞💞💞💞
It's alot of sex puns I didn't catch back then lol
I was 3 years old i barely can remember things in 1992.. i remember seeing my big brothers playing nintendo.. thats was a good time
Cleveland Channel 5!! Yes! Feels like home!
God That kid boyardee commercial had me in tears, that's so ridiculous xD
Whoa....The Original “Ronald McDonald”, Willard Scott....in a BURGER KING commercial?
I was in fourth grade queens NY and I remember when I just didn’t want to do the BS homework! I’d rather watch tv and I still feel the same freaking way!
Lmao I'm with you!
The year I graduated high school. Things were better back then. Now in days teens will be like what is that?
I was 16 years old living in Bensonhurst Brooklyn at the time
Mark created Meta verse.. somebody create a time machine so we can go back and get away from this materialistic, greedy and chaotic society.
I get legitimately depressed that we will never be able to feel the 90s again.
@@throneborn You're not the only one 💝
1992-2009 were the best years of my life I had friends I had a girl I had hope for a promising future now iam 32 pretty much set where iam with little chance of things getting better my physical health is declining along with my mental state this is my medicine returning back to simpler times picks up enough to keep trying lol
59 cent? Hell I’ll buy that myself
"Evander Holyfield, would you punch a buddy in the mouth for 59 cents? YOU BET I WOULD." haha who remembers that one?
Five years before I was born on September 23rd, 1997.
Is the Country Crock guy also Stew from Rugrats???
Yes
Pam will not rub your burned foot, even if you have Country Crock.
4:10 I was about to comment about how this voice is so nostalgic for some reason. Now it makes sense.
In '92 I was in middle school. Good times. I remember these commercials better than the 80s. I don't think this still felt like the 80s.
Aww man I forgot about Tommy Lasordas slim fast deal!!!
I was 2 months-12 months old in 1992 but I feel like I remember some of these even though I know I cannot.
6:47 😂OMG i had totally forgotten how when they transitioned to a commercial break- they used to have the new anchors immediately begin to shuffle their papers around, trying to look busy or something. 🤣 god we were all so innocent then
I was four. Can’t say I remember much...lol
Am I the only one that saw the Tim Hagan for Congress ad at 14:55 ? 😂
Sunday May 10th 1992
Day after my birthday...I think it was a good one. I can't really.remember though
@@chrislong2256 mine's in june. I turned 3 in '92.
1988 here
This was my ex wife's 17th birthday
May '89 so about 3 at that time too
The fact that my life will never be as great as it was in 1992 makes me physically ill. I'd give anything to go back in time. I loathe the time in which I'm living with an absolute passion.
My baby father didn't listen to the say no to drugs commercial.
Don't all hot dogs/sausages plump when you cook them??
Dexatrim: It's caffeine free!
Back when DiGiorno made everything except pizza as opposed to now when they make nothing but pizza...
If only I knew back then that one day a thing called an NFT or tiktok would exist I would’ve purged the planet.
Duracell dolls 😂😂😂
1.59 for Burger King breakfast. What's it now... 13 bucks? 😂
Anyone born in 93 but still remember some of these commercials
I don't remember any of this, I don't see how you could... I just looked it up because I have a friend born 1983 who was 9 in 1992 and was curious to see ads from their time. I remember the late 90s though.
anyone remember this commercial from the '90s?
There was a map of the US and a path was traveling accross it. The voice over was something like this: "As the world changes, so do we. Our network now reaches across the United States and into Canada."
Possibly MCI?
@@robloxvids2233 whats that?
The year I was born wow!
haha ya...i was born in 1992..... ya...id say 96 was when the 90's grunge culture took over....looking at old photos i do think 92 was more like the 80's culture still...things were still a bit fun lmfao
Ahh the 90’s commercials. Where you didn’t have to mix Mexicans blacks and whites together in one commercial. And guess what? It didn’t offend people
But I need representation
@@YasminePomerantz "MuH RePrEsENTaTioN."
It's not even Mexicans, blacks, and whites. Now it's literally ONLY mixed-race people where you can't really tell what they are. If you're like part black, middle eastern, and hispanic you are gauranteed to get commercial work. Especially if you're fat and ugly.
Speak for yourself
We love supermarket sweep show
3:24 Jackson Beck on the voice-over for Little Caesars.
Which movie is it playing on ABC Sunday Night Movie in 1992?
Kinda jarring to see Willard Scott, the original Ronald McDonald doing Burger King commercials.
Grew up on Country Crook only butter we ever had
wHy aM I waTcHinG tHiS?
So this is what I missed .
But why is do the Thunder Jets fruit snacks use the F-16XL, which only ever had two prototypes built and never entered active service and not the standard model?
Now the burger king logo is the same as this one.
15:04 politicians actually cared about a budget back then? wow
And the “mentally retarded” lmao
Nah they just paid lip service to caring about a budget
If I could go back, I'd fkng RUNNN
Exactly💯💯💯
Etymologists and logophiles should appreciate the use of the phrase "mentally retarded" around the 15:10 mark. It used to simply be the way we described, well, the mentally retarded. No bad connotations associated with it. Also, there's a wikipedia entry on Tim Hagan. I guess he did pretty well for himself.
These commercials are 30 years old. If you remember them, you're not "young."
We young at heart though.
Growing old is a luxury not all get to enjoy.
@@FUCKINGENIOUS Amen!
You can't choose who you fall in love with. Not if it was love at first sight. 😭😐
4:20 ladies and gents, Family Guy
6:05 that was messed up
Wish I could warn holyfield about Tyson
Whose the chick in the HBO commercial @ 12:25 ?
Fourth grade for me. I won’t forget the LA riots.
Promoting all American, definitely the Bush senior era.
Burger King breakfast combo for $1.59 🥲
6:06 same 'ol ACAB, 15:14 oof, that did not age well
also lol i remember, "IS GOOD VOR YOU!" lulzsec3.0
