I ain’t got time to pay attention to what used to be or what others are doing now. I’m praising for me and my anointing ain’t changed.
The praising doesn't seem fake or forced....no heads full of wigs and weaves...no super long lashes...no men in tight suits...no men in skinny leg pants.... I hope that's not being too judgemental. Lord please forgive me if I'm wrong. The praise feels sincere.
Well I saw a lot of instructions given before the praise breaks just like today (lift your hands, turn around jump three times touch you neighbor. And as far as the suits at that time men weren’t wearing the skinny suits at that time because it wasn’t the style. Even the funny men wore baggy suits, and the whole dress down thing started in the mid to late 90s so that’s why there’s a difference
I can remember a little bitty Pentecostal church that the mothers would come in early and and be go around to each chair and pray and cry over it. When you needed prayer you could ask one of these women to lay hands on you- and pray for you. When the mother for you you FELT something. My mother was one of these precious saints. I remember kids would tell my mother they were going to have a test or look for a job or had a headache they would take my mother’s hand and put it on their heads. Also they would tell my mother their prayers got answered. I’m sorry but this just doesn’t happen so much anymore. Churches aren’t ‘prayed out’ anymore. Most folks don’t even know what that means. I do.

Praise breaks are my favorite part of church. These clips are the old school way. Sadly we dint have church like this no more every thing is for the next 30 seconds" or "we gotta move on ."
Or look at brother or sister so and so like it's Soul Train. I want someone to look at me and experience salvation and deliverance and not just my moves. I don't claim to have the best dance but when I think of the goodness of Jesus, I move like I feel it and it's never the same. I thank God for salvation and delivering me so many times..

Wonderful! Without that infinity of samples that make it seem like you're shouting inside a computer, and not in a church. They should stop using that.

I grew up with services like this. The anointing was thick to the point where the preacher didn't have to preach. The Holy Spirit would take over.
