I like that you play mostly vanilla. I don't watch any of the CZcamsr's that use a lot of mods.
@Ken Bristow "and upgrade station" the most OP of all xD
only mod I have seen that I like is S+ mostly for the building features
On singleplayer I use S+, P+, Ultra Stacks (a little op ngl), and Auto Engrams so I can unlock every engram.
building without s+ is a torture, mods like S+ and HG 1000 stack and dino storage are extremly handy and are very vanilla.
I even don't use the nanny so its extremly close to vanilla and for the dino storage I use the soul gun only at base
the auto engram is also really cool, but I don't use it anymore
but when I get tired of vanilla , I switch to playing big mods like primal fear or eternal or dox or jurassic park expansion... and when I get tired of it I go back to vanilla with s+ and dino storage
I don't use the upgrade station since its too op to get a weapon to 700 percent damage I mean you can limit the gain so that you don't exceed 200 or 300 or any percentage but still I find it op even with the small gain in durability or armor or weapon damage it gives when limited with ini settings

Haha! We have the same coffee cups you're using. I chose the Lighthouse, as well, although, I actually built a living quarters onto the entrance. Dunno what to do with the platforms in the tower. Any suggestions? Lol..And have a great day!

Very nice info and nice to see you too! I have a question about your keyboard setup. I noticed you are not on default keys. Do you change from default for a reason?
Hey, want to add one thing: Never-ever join or create tribe if you a) plays solo-multiplayer and b) plan to switch to other servers and back. The reason is when you transfer your character to other server you will also leave the tribe, and all your base are belong to tribe. Tribe w/o players also have faster decay timer for buildings.
Is this true with official?
Love ya videos bro and run your settings on my own solo server. Tried raising Allo's and Rex's yesterday and they were raising way to fast couldn't even get an imprint on the Allos's, just a heads up before you run into the same problem and lose tames.......
You should try to do a Speed Run of the Island on the super bumped up settings - takes about 4 hours... lots of fun!
Hey Phlinger, been watching since season 4. Now that you are doing a server for Rag instead of single player, I have a suggestion for you. Tame, breed, and imprint your army early and toss them on ice. This doesn't help as much on single player because the server is off when you exit but now you can leave it running and they will continue to level when you aren't there. I did my last three armies this way and by the time I was ready to fight the boss I just tossed them out and they had 50-60 levels ready to go. With the server running all day, it really doesn't take long. No need to spend several hours running around with them before you can run the boss. You may have already thought of this but, just in case... I found it to be very helpful because leveling 20 tames gets boring fast, especially when you are so close to the fight.
Just switched to pc from Xbox and your videos have been some of the most informational and well rounded for both console and pc players. Thanks for posting!

Tnx, never knew that was a valid option for structure pickup ... so easy ... must have had a brain-fart when going over homestead settings when it was released ... gone are the days that i am usually on top of those kinda things 🤭
I wonder how far you can get solo on servers with official like settings, i struggled with Alpha Rockwell (a lot ... did kill it inside the timer though ... eventually ... not something i fancy doing again), and moved to SP because of Titan cooldown timers in EX (and something genesis specific, but i forgot what that was) 😔
I have 0.5 exp but the problem is that it crippled the dinos, it takes forever to level them up

Hello, are these the beat settings for getting full imprints on all types of dino? Also will I need milk when raising a wyvern to avoid it starving or will it mature before it starves on these settings? Thanks.

I’m trying to find which settings should I use for baby imprint and mature bc they grow up before they need care
You phlinger instead of going level wise to get tames that you want like thylo's you could put an extra challenge on it like you hit the level to make the saddle but to tame the creature for the saddle you could for example: "i want to get an argent, but to do so i need to get 1 artifact and a water tame" and you could add requirements for certain tames like to tame a giga add something like getting a mantis first and beating the ice worm queen to have more than the saddle and electrical tranc darts it's a system to make it more fun but those are just idea examples
phlingster, when you are on Aberration do you adjust the night cycle for your surface loot runs?
Yes, that's why Soloing the Ark was currently set at 1/1/1

When I made the settings to set up a local server and entered the game, after a while, I realized that the Allow Flyer Carry PvE command was turned off even though I had it turned on. I turn it on every time but it turns off. Please help me how to turn this setting on.

for some reason my solo the ark dino levels always get messed up, on unofficial maps the follow the regular levels, on official maps the are all wonky, is there an easy fix for it?

Hello Sir! I’m a little lost and maybe you can help me. Are these “single player” or solo settings appropriate for two players? My wife and I have two PlayStation’s and two televisions and we wanted to co-op without using split screen. Would this work okay?
Also, we’re really noobs to ARK in general (I mean we’ve never played the game). We have an ARK Bundle that included what I thought was all these expansions, but not the Genesis Season Pack. I assume it includes Ragnarok (I remember the words Scorched Earth, Extinction, and Aberration). I...I don’t know if I started if I would be using some Season One settings or if I should just use your Ragnarok settings here, because they’re so recent?
Anyway, to keep it really simple, are these settings balanced and challenging but not nightmarish for two people working together? Are these settings good for someone just starting out but may have access to some DLC? Thank you so much in advance!
I use these same settings on the servers I host for hundreds of people. They are really balanced and provide a challenge while keeping the game exciting and keep it from feeling like it's an endless grind to do anything.
@@Phlinger Thank you! Thank you so much for this prompt reply. We have the day off today and now we can get set up and play today. I also figured some stuff out and I feel silly. When you referenced “Seasons” you were talking about your seasons of your CZcams videos! Because you have like a 150 videos about soloing the ark. I thought references to seasons were something internal to the game that we had to work through.
Is the tether distance setting only for PC ?
my gameuser settings wont save even whe n i press save whenever i laucnh my ark world they reset
I like to spam Cryopods but I don't use PvE mode coz I'm breeding Rexes 4 mutations, so whenever I kill the unwanted ones I can't harvest the corpses... IDK why... Maybe it's a glitch or something... I play on xbox btw

Hé is probely trying his best for a new episode but it takes like 3 hours to make a 30 minutes episode and then Some edditing
