Eliana Guerrero is amazing she has been at this for many years and she simply says she wants tourists to go home and say they enjoyed Barcelona rather than to say they were pickpocketed in Barcelona. She knows who the pickpockets are and where they like to work how they work. As already said, if the police did their job she wouldn’t have to do it for them
Eliana Guerrero is from Venezuela 🇻🇪 she migrated from her motherland because the socialism destroyed the whole country. She loved Spain and gives all her heart to defend it and avoid the collapse of this country like Venezuela. Definitely, she honors her surname (Guerrero = Warrior).
Do you know what else is illegal, stealing? Do your jobs, law enforcement, and citizens won't have to resort to these tactics.
Reasons why I'm reluctant to visit various countries. As a New Yorker I haven't needed to deal with too much thievery outside of middle school.

I remember I met a beautiful woman at the bar. Was going back with her to my apartment, then some dude stole the phone out of her purse. We tried to chase after him but he was gone. She went home in tears and I went home alone. I’ll never forget that day.

Here's a good idea. Get a really tough inner bag, to place inside an outer bag, and make it a tempting target. In the bag have several pieces of tangled razor wire: maybe even coated with something really nasty.
A bag or pocket with fish hooks sewn into it works a treat.

I love how the spokesperson doesn’t admit there’s a pickpocket issue. It’s the people trying to stop it voluntarily that are clearly the issue 🙄

Went there once. Thankfully, i didn't get caught out by pickpockets but was always vigilant. Not relaxing. I'll never go back because of them.

If the police did their job, she wouldn’t need to do this. It’s the same the world over. When citizens actually want to sort a problem out the officials say oh don’t bother we’ll do it and then they give up halfway through.

Funny and not funny, my mom on her last day in Spain got stole. Thankfully only 40euro. They were around her trying to sell flowers. They were quick, the money was in front in banana wallet, and the wallet with zipper inside.
