A tip to hitting ducks when they are flying straight away from u, is to aim higher than the duck, not straight on the duck bc if u do that, the shotgun pellets will go below the duck so u won't kill it

Nice vid lady 👍 I have become a duck hunter in cotw and i have set out to get every diamond of every species of ducks in cotw and I have recently accomplished that! All of my rares from that grind are a luesistic tufted, cream tufted, luesistic goldeneye, hybrid goldeneye, mela mallard, two luesistic Eurasian wigeon, and I haven't gotten a rare Eurasian teal yet

Good video. Yeah, I like hunting ducks and especially in Revontuli. It's fun to try and hit a moving target and ducks are pretty fast once they get up in the air.

LOL, That island is my duck hunting spot too. Then right across the water is my Canada goose and Greylag goose spot. I shouldn't be surprised, great minds think alike, right.

How does one know when they find all their drinking zones when grinding? I have a good bit of zones for my whitetail grind but I’m not sure when I should stop looking for zones.
All you can do is check and double check and start your grind and see if they respawn
I have the clip of it but just randomly shot a bird I think it was a certain goose. But I wasn’t worried about it and I got a my first diamond off of it😂😂

@@KushWilson I don’t think it can be fixed, just try moving your stand
Pay attention to wind direction, it’s like real duck hunting, birds will want to land into the wind and you just need to give them space

I'm shooting waterfowl with the air rifle so they dont scare as easy and I use the virant .22 for diamond potentials
You don't get integrity with the air rifle on ducks or class 1 species. Don't shoot a diamond with it. You'll end up with a gold

Can you set up decoys anywhere, or do you need to find need zones for the ducks?

1 - I'd get Te Awaroa 2 - I'm struggling with that right now. I'm struggling to get rid of pack mule cause I love it so much but I also need Disturbed Veg. I think I'm gonna change to Disturbed veg
@@LadyLegendXO personally I don’t think it should be so expensive to change. Many people choose bad skills in the start since they don’t know what they are doing, and then they get punished for it later, and have to pay a overpriced amount to switch it. Like 80k just to reset both skills?!

Hi, I've got quick question. I deleted need zone by accident and will it 'respawn' after some time or it's gone forever?
I’m pretty sure it respawns around that general area but just not in that same spot

The zone will go somewhere else on the map. Every animal will respawn once it dies
One more question, will that respawned zone be the same type(e.g. drink) or random?
I have a 3 piebald ducks. 1 diamond and 2 gold. And also only 15 decoys? I use 200.
If you look in the store, it will tell you how many is maximum I believe under the decoy description
I went ahead & decided to shoot a duck with the compound bow. She was a silver. Shortly after I got in the blind it starts raining!😂

You can play it in Mulitplayer
Waterfowl ignore hunting pressure. All you need is a tent nearby, 20 decoys for the species you are after and a tripod stand. You also don't need callers if you have decoys.
I have killed six diamonds and a Leucistic Teal female.

I just got my first diomand whitetail... Then I messed up the shot and it happened to be non vital. Then IT DIED before I could get to it. It was gonna be a diomand. But it is now a gold. 😭

It's absurd that the layout and ground blinds provide no more camo than the tripod. Looking at it another way, it's absurd how much "Visual Camoflage" the tripod provides, at least without some kind of wrap around it. If you tried using one of those IRL, for ducks and geese, you would basically be wasting your time.

Go duck hunting in the sun the ducks can't see in real life because the sun deflects off the water and blinds them.
