    Interesting drawer setup, but no space for loose gear anymore?
    To draw (a verb) is to make marks on paper with a pencil, or on another material with another medium, in order to produce a picture. It also means to drag something along or across (a horse draws a cart, we draw the curtains when we close (or open!) them); to reach a certain point (“we hope that the meeting will draw to an end by 7pm”); to work out (you draw conclusions); to attract attention (“his miming act drew a smaller crowd than he’d expected”) and various other technical things to do with pipes and sails and water.
    There is a noun, draw, but this means a process by which a winner of something is selected randomly. (“We will have a draw of the raffle tickets at the end of the fete”), a game that ends in the same score for both sides or, in cricket, where the match has to be abandoned because it can’t be completed in the time allowed (“The match was a draw. Both teams got 1 goal”), or an attraction (“her burlesque act was a big draw and the variety show made a huge profit”). What it isn’t is anything to do with furniture.
    A drawer (a noun) is the slide-out compartment in a piece of furniture, kitchen unit, desk, etc. It’s also a rather old-fashioned word for underpants, a drawer is someone who draws something, and you can be the drawer of a cheque when you write one. But the main use is the one to do with furniture.

    top draw setup Brayden, love the upright fridge, with the level fridges they get a bit messy after a few days and what you want is always at the bottom of the fridge

    I had Harry's book publisher over for New Years so a bought a 6 pack of Colonial SOUR for a bit of a troll, we battled through the first then played it safe with Scotch. Stick with the IPA, if you buy the SOUR just buy 1, you'll either love it or struggle through. Personally I'll stick with Scotch.

  • @eggy9108
    @eggy9108 Před 3 lety +1

    How much do they weigh??Thats a great set up but overweight touring vehicles are problematic. there is a GVM that governs your set up. My draw system in my GU Patrol weighed 80kg. that's 80L of water or an extra 90L of diesel !!

    • @eggy9108
      @eggy9108 Před 3 lety

      @@4x4CampingandAdventures Thanks, the reason I brought up the weight issue is because most people building a touring vehicle don't realise how fast it all adds up.most wagons have about 600kg of payload and this is across both axles! Included in that payload is fuel in the tanks, in this case 130L @ 115kg, Driver and passengers ?? A bulbar, winch? @110kg. Second AGM battery and wiring @30kg That roof rack and awning@ 80-90kg. 40L of water@ 40kg. Tow bar / rear bar-tyre carrier @100kg. Draws@80kg. Fridge 30kg??
      see where I'm heading. that's what most people do to their tourers. Thats a total of 585kg with no driver in it. Doesn't leave much for camping gear, parts, tools etc.
      Just wanted to bring the weight issue up because so many people get caught out, including myself. My GU Patrol was fitted out with all the fruit when I purchased it, I soon realised the effect all that 'stuff' had on its general performance. So I put it on a diet, reduced weight and reaped the rewards. Just my opinion! only want those who are building up their 4x4's to be aware of what's going on in their build. Keep it simple, Keep it light!
