  • Come with me to the newest Geo thermal lagoon in Iceland! The all new Sky Lagoon, just 15 minutes from Reykjavik. With an over 40 million dollar price tag this lagoon was built with Icelandic tradition and heritage in mind.
The Sky Lagoon was built in 2019 and opening in 2021, with an all new 7 step ritual that will make your skin so soft. And you can enjoy the lagoon at your leisure.
The Sky Lagoon has three packages available, we chose the Pure Pass with the seven step ritual, the showers are also private stalls and towels and lockers are included. Put a credit card on file to grab a drink at the lagoon bar, and remember you are only allowed 3 drinks per person.
    The Seven Steps are:
Step 1: Slow down and relax in the Lagoon
Step 2: Cool down with a cold plunge in the chill pool
Step 3: Relax with a view in the sauna (Iceland's largest window)
    Step 4: Refresh in a cold fog-mist
Step 5: The Sky body scrub (makes your skin feel amazing)
Step 6: Steam room (where the body scrub works it's magic)
Step 7: Shower and back to relax in the lagoon
Once you leave the Seven Step building you are not allowed to re-enter, you give your bracelet as you walk in, you can repeat any steps, but once you leave the building you are done.
Be sure to get you reservation online before you arrive

It looks so relax and fun... for how long are you allow to stay in that place, all or half day, just 4 hrs.. etc. Thank you for sharing your fabulous time there.

How did your phone handle the heat from Sauna?

I used my GoPro. The big one with glass front is dry sauna so no problem, and the steam sauna we didn’t stay long, it was hot.

    Thank you for the video!
How did you enjoy your experience? I heard some people complain that it was too crowded and lots of loud, drunk people! But I also heard a lot of positive comments and it does seem very nice :)

We loved it! I don’t know how they would be drunk since they only allow 3 drinks per person on site.
We went later in the day so no crowds.
It was so calming, and we met some great people while we were there. Have fun!

    • @travelwithtiffa7626
      @travelwithtiffa7626  Před 5 měsíci +1

This is as long as you can take it. Once you go thru the 7 steps (take your time no rush) you can spend as much time as you like. Generally 3-4 hours I think

From Hlemmur square take bus #4 And stop in Hanraborg, from there take bus #35 it will stop at Hafnabraut which is the nearest stop and you can follow the signs. If you check Sky Lagoon website they now offer a Pass with a Shuttle transfer. Have an amazing time!

No water shoes supplied or needed, the bottom is just a little rough but nothing too bad.
