@@BertilSorensen Basically, anyone can cover anyones songs. You just need a mechanical license. The song's copyright owner must issue a mechanical license if you pay a royalty feee based on the estimated revenue.
It is different for videos. There you need a synchronization license, which the copyright holder may not issue to you.
