- Goodwill shopping trip!!! In this video I'll take you thrifting with me where we'll shop for vintage, and then back to my house to show you the thrift haul - I found a really cool mid century piece!! I'll also show you how I repurposed a home decor item in a budget-friendly DIY. At the end we'll go over what has sold recently on the Etsy shop. I'm always drawn towards wood items...candlesticks, wall decor, boxes, etc. I really liked the wood/mirror planter box. Music was perfect!

Hi🙋🏼♀️ I would of definitely gotten the brass trinket box with the Angels they go for good money they are part of a vanity set from the 50s 60s 70s they would come with the tray,tissue holder, jewelry box (like the one there) and brush, mirror, comb sometimes they’d have a lipstick holder with a couple of holes for several lipstick 😊 if you find the whole set it sells for good money, Anyways good finds 😊🙋🏼♀️
Thanks for the info on the angel trinket box. It seemed expensive looking and good quality that's why I was considering it for awhile. But interesting to hear that they are part of a set. I'll definitely keep my eye out!

I am so pleased with the turned wooden candlestick that was the first item listed in the “sold” segment. It is currently placed on our dining room table atop my thrifted embroidered tablecloth. I likely would have left behind all the items that you did

I would have definitely passed on the "cowboy", but would have purchased the brass planter. Brass seems to sell very well here. I would enjoy hearing more relaxing music while watching thrifting. My decor is French Country, so I would love to see you pick up some items in that spectrum.

Glad you like the music - I need to find a few more tracks just to keep it so that it's not repetitive. But I do like the upbeat music. Some other CZcams videos are too relaxing and I just fall asleep. lol. Not that that's a terrible thing sometimes :)

I would have gotten the brass planter even with the rust and definitely the the brass trinket box with the angels. You can't find those easily any more.

I live in SE Tennessee. We have more antique stores than thrift stores in my immediate area. We actually own one if the few thrift stores. The Cherub trinket dish was gorgeous, would be a great addition to the ones i have. It was A little pricey tho🥴 I love frogs and use them on my plant stands with my flowers but i didn't really care for those particular ones. First item..pass. I collect old things.. antique, primitive, vintage and Victorian.. so not my style. Music wasn't bad, but personally i like softer it skir slower music. I do like the wood & mirror planter box, i have quite a few hanging pieces that are planters. Looks pretty on your wall😊 Item 2.. thrift! I have lots of brass pieces & planters! That's A nice piece. Love the art in the book! I love anything embroidery/cross stitch! I had a smaller etched brass vase but i put it in out thrift store. Enjoyed..TFS😊

Its nice, i mean it takes the right person to run one of course! But for me personally, I've been fortunate to be able to get some great things, but had to let some go to be sold too of course, which is a bummer & a blessing at the same time😄 Its also a lot of work keeping it straight and things moved around. I'm just glad we don't have to shop for it! That's the biggest blessing of all, we have to turn stuff down we get so many donations.. and its a large warehouse!

Too bad it was $8. 2:14 the frogs are cute but the color isn’t doing it for me 2:55 I’m in North Carolina & I have multiple Goodwill stores within a 30 minute drive, Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity & Safe Harbor Resource Warehouse. I’m blessed to live near so many good thrift stores. 8:32 great buy on that mid century piece
