@@asword9378 your laptop performance is either capped so it doesn't overheat or it's overheating and throttling your performance. Does it get hot when playing?

i had this problem for a while then I deleted the version of roblox I downloaded from microsoft and downloaded the website version, then it started working. I switched to the microsoft version because downloading the website version didnt work for some reason. I searched why on youtube it seemed to work.
@@Desires-mx6cf ya I just found the solution. The difference is that the bit has to match. So if your download the 64bit unlocker you need to run 64bit roblox

Hey guys, some people are having issues so I wanted to address a few things.
1. Make sure you install the fps unlocker to the same hard drive that your operating system is to reduce the chance of any issues.
2. You have to launch the fps unlocker before you open roblox. If you launch roblox first it will not take effect and you will have to restart roblox.
3. If you're still having issues install/extract the unlocker to your desktop.
Don't forget to drop a like on the video for me!

@@annalisamorgillo6078 no. It gets detected as a Trojan by windows. But it's because of how it interacts with roblox to unlock the fps

@@annalisamorgillo6078 I've had a few people look into it to see if there's like a hidden crypto miner or anything and as they can tell its safe. But there's always a small risk so just make the choice you're comfortable with.

there' probably no way to lower your ping unless you go through a vpn to connect to a different server

You have to open it and choose your setting before launching roblox. If you did that and still can't break 60fps it's your laptop

It's not. Windows defender will flag it as a Trojan but it isn't. The way it works to unlock your fps is why it gets flagged as a Trojan

You have to make sure the fps unlocker is open, running and set to your proffered settings before opening roblox

this the same FPS unlocker that was showing as a virus a few months ago, correct?
It's always going to be detected as a virus because of the way it works. It's not a virus. And until roblox allows us to natively play at higher fps or allow devs to add this to the full game this will always trigger the Trojan virus warning because of how it functions. It's not actually a virus

Why would it lag? You just have extra frame that your monitor can't display

Wherever you install the program it has to have the " settings file" I show in the video In the same place

It means if you have multiple hard drives make sure it's installed to the one that you have windows on

I think windows detects it as a virus because it has to alter the game on a fundamental level to unlock the fps cap. I'm not a developer tho so don't take my word for it

I uninstalled nomad sculpt then i tried to open it and it said i dont have any apps that can oped the file

It should be whatever folder you downloaded it to. Also if you downloaded it but didn't install it you can't launch it

yes it does, thats how you unlock the fps in game. If you use studio, than unlock it for studio as well.

The new version ( 5.2 ) has a trojan so I don't really recommend downloading it right now. Me personally i'll wait for when it gets fixed :(

@@CaffreyPlays I got the trojan from downloading the fps unlocker, at one time it even showed the trojan in virus total, now it dissapeared. I mean I'm not going to argue this was just my experience and what happened to my pc.
@@narcos5322 scanned with virus total only 3 flags which is average it's like opera GX gets flagged 3 times but it's safe. also, I scanned it with Norton and it says its fine.

They may have updated it to not need the settings document since the recording of this video. As long as you can access the settings in the windows tray you should be fine

I'd recommend using an fps tracker. I use the one that comes with the nvidia geoforce experience.

Your pc might only be able to output 120 fps. Or you have another software limiting your frames somewhere

You have to set your fps before opening roblox. If it still doesn't work your pc may not be capable of more than 60fps

No
every time i install the fps unlocker, roblox closes itself repeatedly because its 3rd party software
