Your intimate knowledge of, and love for your home waters was inspiring. I grew up on the Alafia River, and Tampa Bay, fished my whole life on these waters, seen the damage the powers that be, have inflicted on the waters that fed my family since they came to Tampa in 1850... Thanks for your call to action, and your love for what you do, and just being a dynamic representative for fishing in general... That's why you won on day 3...

I feel ya Scott! Some time when you want something so bad it hurts not to get it. When I was fishing a tournament about 20 years ago I pulled 25 pounds in practice and 7 pounds the next day in the tournament. If it was easy it wouldn't be much fun. On to the next one. Good luck.

Scott....... I'd like to make one suggestion. Just go where you think your swinging for the fence buddy. Watching this you said u didn't sleep and you were torn on what to do and you really seemed to be thinking way too hard about it. Only say this based on your previous videos and the intro even to this years series. You said you are aiming for the win. And that you weren't going to worry about certain things and you weren't going to even let the points game lead you to choose based off that. So I think you are correct in this. Aim for the win. And you know as well as I do that what separates winners and losers is who wants it more and who's willing to do the one thing that seems crazy or different. Don't be afraid to go for the long shot. Make that choice to do what seems off the wall. Out of the box. The winner is always the guy who's willing to do something different. So next time..... don't be afraid to go to the spot that seems like it might be a little wild. Just do it and hoist that trophy.
Tournament etiquette question - when Scott was talking about there’s a few areas he’d like to concentrate on but there’s guys in the top 50 there - is it once you’ve fished a few spots in the week you are tied to those? Why couldn’t Scott go to those spots he mentioned?
Newbie question.. after weigh-ins they put them into a hold tank correct?... After tournaments they displace them to even out the lake...No?.. or they just released near weigh station!.... or does the weigh station location change thru out the tournaments?
I was just wondering how to get i to tournament fishing, I live in the northeast with no lakes near by. I also don’t have enough money to go and get a bass boat because im 15 and saving for my first truck. Im just hoping someone has some ideas, Thank You! - i also don’t have a local bass club or anything like that.

I feel ya Scott! Some time when you want something so bad it hurts not to get it. When I was fishing a tournament about 20 years ago I pulled 25 pounds in practice and 7 pounds the next day in the tournament. If it was easy it wouldn't be much fun. On to the next one. Good luck.
