I love the name of your channel. I’m glad I’m not the only one old enough to remember when the Elwha went on the rocks.
Do you also remember when the Issaquah became the Issa-squash? 😸

I agree. There's no history or story of the Elwha on the rocks. My mother was "the woman in the wheelhouse", "the Siren of the San Juans". I was hoping for at least a link to the song or some reference to the incident.
