Love how you made this tag your own and came up with creative solutions for the items you didn't have.
Your tag turned out very beautiful. This video is so helpful as you showed us the process of how to substitute things and how when they don't work to try again. It was a real learning experience. I must confess that sometimes I try too hard to make mine look like somebody else's. So I'm hoping that I can learn to get over that. This video was helpful in that way
Beautiful tag. Love that you made it your own with things you already had.
Wow 🤩, who needs Pinterest inspiration when we have Barbara to inspire us, beautiful 😍 ❤️❤️
☺️❤️
It is always fascinating to watch you "reproduce" an item from Pinterest! I love how you made this tag your own!
I love it!! Great job on improvising. I think it’s important to remember that when we tag things we like on Pinterest, that it’s just inspiration. Of course we will end up with something a bit different, but that’s the whole idea. We all have our own unique style and our own individual materials to work with. So in the end it becomes our own piece. Absolutely beautiful. ♥️
awwww! you did it again! why? why? you can’t show me things that I immediately wanna try out but don’t have time! argh! drives me crazy! your tag is so beautiful!
I’m so sorry, Luise! I’m happy you like it though! 😘😘😘
@@49dragonflies is it allowed to use this as an inspiration for one of our DEPHEMEREMBER prompts??? 😊😊😊
I love it
@@luiseheinzl you are allowed anything you want! 😃❤️
“ Comparison is the thief of joy”…Theodore Roosevelt. Thought you’d like this quote. Your tag is great and I love the Pinterest-inspired series. 👏👏👏
I love that quote!!
I just love when you do these Pinterest inspirations Barbara! We all learn so much! And I think it is so much fun too!
Barbara, this tag turned out beautifully! Love the colors. TFS! ❤️
Just Beautiful!! I am learning so much from this series! Thank you so much for taking us along as you work out these gorgeous pieces of art! I love it that you find other materials to work with and how they are every bit as beautiful as the original. It helps those of us who are limited in our on hand supplies to know that you can make beautiful pieces using what we have.
Absolutely stunning. I get a lot of inspiration from the way you change things to make the piece your own. Your advice about not comparing your work to the original was so helpful. The last thing anyone needs is to become dissatisfied with our creations. Thank you Barbara . You are such a wise woman.
You are the master at deconstructing and reconstructing my hat is off to you. Love this. Blessings from Canada 🇨🇦
I love that tag. You always do such an awsome job when you do a "Pinterest Inspired" project!!!
Your tag is gorgeous, the crackle stamp was a definite yes, brought needed texture! Loved watching your process, I also agree that comparison tricks our minds into thinking that our ‘inspiration’ was supposed to be the exact result! 💕🇨🇦
I have never watched one of these pinterest inspired videos before and I really enjoyed it! I loved your butterfly! Beautiful!
I like to search Pinterest for inspiration. You can get a lot of ideas. Thanks for your instructions and inspiration. Tag is beautiful.
I love how you show us your process! Your tag is so beautiful!
I do like the idea of taking someone elses work and seeing how you can replicate it with different media and make it your own.
I love seeing how you look at each section and figure out how to make it work. I love looking at the Pinterest tags and Journals. Ooohhhing and aaawwwing over them. Wishing I could do that. Knowing I can’t. But when you do it your way it seems much more doable! And that’s so smart to stop looking at the 2 tags, side by side and comparing them. I love the way yours turned out. I keep thinking of the saying, How do you eat a whole cow (something really big)? One bite at a time. You can’t “eat” this tag all in one big bite. But if you take small bites, it’s not so scary. Thanks for showing us this!♥️♥️♥️
Thanks Angela! Yes, baby steps are totally manageable. You could do it too! 😃❤️
Hi Barbara:
You did a great job making this your own. I think it definitely looks like your style. So glad you like the way it came out. 💜😎🇺🇸
Morning Barbara. This is a lovely tag. Love the colouring of the "scraps", they work so well together. Another great success, my crafty friend. As always, you have inspired us and, all I can say is, THANK YOU. We know how much work and effort go into every video and, I for one, appreciate all that you do. If possible, I NEVER miss any of your videos and have even gone back into the "archives" to watch the golden oldies. Pure enjoyment and pleasure. As always, from Cape Town, Blessings and hugs to you and your hubby. Diana
You are such a sweetheart! ❤️❤️❤️
Love the colors. Thanks for the tip on using water color instead of distress oxide so the gesso doesn’t take on the color from it. Now I know how to prevent what I’ve had problems with before. Thanks!
I have to say at first I wasn’t digging it, but the finished tag is SPECTACULAR!! The colors mesh so well and it’s beautiful!
It turned out beautifully!
I really like it. The addition of the crack stamp was great 👍🏼
Barbara: your work is amazing! Carol from California
Lots of fun to watch these inspired tags! I believe the "string" under the Pinterest butterfly is orange raffia, probably dyed as it usually comes in a natural tone.
Love how it turned out.
I think your adaptions are equally beautiful as the original... I think it's always good to remember that it's still your own work even though you use others work to inspire you... That's my philosophy when I use others work anyway 😉😁 Hope the move is going well sweetie💖 💖
Very fun and inspiring! Love to see your thought processes come to fruition and I LOVE your little giggle!
I love this Pinterest inspired tag. It’s gorgeous. But I knew it would be . Love your work.
Lovely! I think the stamping really added to it.✨
And I love how you substitute and make it your own.
"I don't have those exact ones. I am lucky to have this set." What a refreshing attitude in today's "You need to buy this!" world!! I am going to work on having that attitude myself from now on instead of grumbling. Also, thank you so much for providing us with this video today as a car came over into our lane tonight and although we were fine, we had to stamp on the brakes and it left me feeling quite shaken and anxious but now I am feeling inspired and calm. xx
I’m so happy nothing happened to you! ❤️
@@49dragonflies Ty. xx
I love it!! The crackle stamp was the perfect touch. 🥰
Adorable and the watercolors in place of the alcohol inks look great! TFS the inspiration!
I’m happy you added the crackle stamp! I love your end result!
Your tag is awesome! I love the way it turned out. Especially the colors! Perfection! 🤗💕🦋
Absolutely stunning Barbara, I never knew there was blogs on Pinterest like that, xx
Gorgeous! I have found, on the stamps that print black around the edges, if I cut the extra rubber part away with a sharp exacto knife it stops the overprinting.
I love when you do the Pinterest inspired videos! Your tag turned out beautiful! I hope you do more of these!
Oh! I forgot to say Congratulations on your new place! So excited for you! I know you can’t wait!!!
Thank you Tonya! I enjoy filming this series as well! I will be so happy when all the boxes are gone!!! 😃❤️
I absolutely adore all your work and especially love the Pinterest inspired creations. 😘
I love this Pinterest inspired series.
I just got your notification and I am still in the middle of watching video but I wanted to be the first to comment. Bucket list completed. Lol. Off to watch it. I'm sure it will be wonderful as always!! I'll probably comment again. Lol. 🤣🥰💙💙💙
You crack me up! 😂😂😂❤️
Lovely!! Every panel is unique to itself; each having so many special details. When it unfolds- it is amazing! Like a visual explosion or like a time-lapse video of nature unfolding. I love your techniques and I love your creativity 🖤.
I love yours as much as the original because it’s your touch👏🏻🦋
Well done, Barbara! A good lesson on using alternate supplies. TYFS. 🦋🦋🦋
Hello Barbara, your butterfly tags are gorgeous, thanks for sharing.
Love, love this tag!!
Good job, Barbara! I like the way you used the stamps too.
I really enjoyed following your process of making this tag. The final tag was great!
Beautiful job. I loved the black crackling! Thank you for sharing ❤️❤️❤️❤️😊
Very pretty tag… beautiful as always. Thanks for sharing your ideas. ♥️♥️♥️
Love the watercolor effects
1.4K views….. 403 comments. I wish everyone that viewed left a comment. Lol. Even just a Hello Barbara. This is beautiful. Lol. It is fun though to see how many people jump in and watch.
Hello, Angela ❣️
Really enjoy these inspiration videos. They are so helpful as I don’t necessarily have a lot of stuff and it gives me some great ideas. Your tag turned out gorgeous!
I always love these video’s from you. So nice to see you taking different things out off your stash and make it your own.🥰
I was thinking the fibers from a spent dryer sheet could give you the fuzzy string behind that orange string. Use an ink pad to color it. This tag was beautiful the way you added your own elements. Thanks for showing this. I'll give it a try when I'm not working. 😊
Thank you for inspiring me! I always try to match watch I see and get frustrated or simply don’t try to make it my own. Now I have permission. I love your tag!
Die Farben sind sehr schön
So toll geworden liebe Barbara. Ich mache das auch manchmal einen Tag von Pinterest aussuchen zur Inspiration und was eigenes daraus gestalten. Gut zum lernen. Danke für deine Inspiration
Thank you Barbara for this one it's a different colour scheme for you. I like it. Next time in your pinterest series could you do a complicated one please even if it has to be in 2 parts . It would be good to see how you dissect it. I am doing a collage each day thanks to you some better than others. Thank you
Hi Barbara. I love ❤️ these videos. What a great idea to get more creative. Hugs 🤗 DarvaDee USA 🇺🇸
Love your process and encouragement to make things our own version of a project.
Great tag. Your gesso looks nice and thick Barbara xx
Fall colors are my favorite as is the fall season Beautiful
Love this….how you went through your thought process with us….more please
your tag is just beautiful. I love watching you find substitutes for items you don't already have. I definitely need to use what I have - which is too much. 🙃
Thanks! I know the feeling! 😂❤️
Very nice. I love the way you took an idea and made it your own.
Lovely pinterest idea.
Once again, absolutely beautiful. ❤️🥰
Crazy…
I was just thinking the other day as I was scrolling thru your past videos that it’s been awhile since you did a Pinterest-inspired tag! Thanks for reading my mind! 😃
😊❤️
Very beautiful butterfly tag I love it
Great tag choice Barbara.. Turned out really good 👍
Your tag is so pretty, you did an amazing job! ❤️🤗
It's always fun to watch your process. It's just so nice
I loved this project and was inspired to make my own version of the tag. Thank you, so much!

Wow this is brilliant I love how your tag came out what a fabulous idea love love love it🤗💜🤗
A beautiful interpretation and inspiration!
Barbara, I really enjoyed this video! 😍 the use of watercolors is inspiring since I have many water soluble mediums and need to get them out more. Thank you for sharing your talents 🙏 😊
Don't compare it to the other one because each and one of them are beautiful it's gorgeous beautiful congratulations you have your own Beauty
Your videos are a treat always. Lovely tag. 💕💕
Beautiful job! You are such an inspiration, from your Pinterest inspiration!
Totally love it! You put so much love into your creations! 💕TFS🤗
Really enjoyed this. I love to try Pinterest inspired items. This one came out great. Glad you showed with water colors as that is what I choose to work with more often than not. Great explaining your choices and how they can come together. Thank you for sharing with us. *Debbie*
Great to see the process, love the choices you made.
Love that little pallet, have it myself 🤩 I will try something similar, but maybe with some watercolour paper?
This was the first one I watched in this series👩🎨 watching your process and patience😬 was really helpful. I liked how you used watercolours, instead of distress oxides. Sometimes using salt on wet watercolours gives a great effect, I know it works well with blues. I haven't tried orange or green yet. I am in the middle of making tags, do I might do a couple with watercolours. The effect on the gesso looked great, very organic. Great inspiration 🥰
Lovely creation.. Valid instruction about whit splatters on top of the watercolor versus alcohol ink
Love this. Might give it a go using your tag as my inspiration. Always enjoy your videos.
Love both the inspiration and your version 💕
Love the inspiration tag and love yours as well. Great video as always.
Beautiful ... and really inspirational! Perfect task for early Autumn. Best wishes from southern England. xx
Beautiful tag
Beautiful tag.
This video reminded me of the time you and Luise did a challenge with another tag that instead had a bird. That was my first time trying out a challenge let alone looking at the Pinterest picture. I learned and had so much fun participating. At that time I didn't have die cuts and I used one of your freebies, my cheap paints and did my own fussy cutting of wild flowers 🙃 because I had to improvise and I believe it's the one tag I am most proud of. You're so right! Doing the same things or comparing is not going to help with your own creativity. I love to create now and adding my own twist. Thank you for reminding me of this amazing day! - Warm hugs from Lucy in AZ 😘😘❤️ By the way, your tag came out amazing as always! You inspire me! 🥰
Thanks so much Lucy! ❤️
I love this series!
I love it!
