they actually dont hate advanced tech...well...as long as those advanced tech are a few thousand years old I guess and have been tested literally a million time to their face that it is working as intended.
What they built cannot even be bested by a lot of faction in Warhammer Fantasy except for Skaven, Lizardmen, Empire and maybe Southern Empire.
Bretonnian archers and mages are no joke though to be honest. Gotta take those walls quick.

Seen the airships with all the broadside cannons and was thinking it would be completely one sided, till the airships decided to only use the 1 bow gun, or when one finally did go broadside, it was to let the 1 guy with a musket shoot 😑
Sadly this is a CA limitation for warhammer II, In III we will be able to see it broadside.

Not really … it’s just 2AI vs each other and an automatic panning. If it was a human vs dwarfs or they were able to play with their own AI software the outcome l would’ve been different and more interesting

The airships need a bit more work with their destruction fase. When they fall, they don't feel heavy. And there's a lack of fire and signs of wreckage. But otherwise, they are a nice addition to the Dwarf army.
They are so op. Bretonnia are just cannon fodder.

yeah man, a cavalry faction in a siege battle is a total joke. Its like fighting the Mongol in Medieval 2 but in Siege Battle, which will totally wrecked their cav in urban battle.

Cavalry would be out in the open field, utilising speed and ferocity for blunt force charges, flanking attacks across the open plains and counter attacks against enemy reserve sections stationed at the rear. This is done to divide the enemy forces up so that any front enemy assault on the walls is significantly weakened.
Reserve Cavalry are stationed just outside the main walls and just behind it also.
Both of these enable archers and artillery to concentrate fire more accurately. It also means that if the Cavalry stationed outside the walls has go retreat then they can do so under covering fire from the walls.
If the enemy has archers and artillery then the Cavalry stationed outside the walls simply move to do more flank attacks. This just moves an enemy force further across an open plain which breaks their ranks because they have to deal with pressure from their most vulnerable points.
If the enemy spreads too thin leaving their archers and artillery exposed then reserve Cavalry can be released from behind the walls to do the initial charge which puts enemy archers and artillery under great duress because once the Cavalry closes with them they're pretty much routed. You can then release bulk of troops from behind the walls onto the open plains to engulf an enemy who's ranks are broken, spread too thin to counter attack and had its own archers and artillery all destroyed if they haven't fled already.

@John C. yes they do, by default the mod that adds them only lets you target using the front cannon but the side cannons do fire when used correctly.

Slayers inspired a phenomenon in my D&D universe called the Death Kenning. One of our races is heavily Scots-Irish inspired, and they are occasionally able to predict their own death in battle. They'll hold their own wake, and then instead of woad, they will paint themselves with ash. It signals their own healers not to waste their time on them, and it's a warning to their enemies that they will go down biting if need be.
To this day, only one of their race has survived their Death Kenning - Pip Ban-Glas. He's regarded with an air of dread by his own kind, since by tradition, he's already dead, but he's also failed to die.

If arse-ladders weren't bad enough it turns out that slayers also keep a couple of axes up there. Ouch.
And yet the dwarves still are conquered by items on the top shelf.
So apart from the fact that the Bretonnians are allied with the Sylvan elves, I don't see why the dwarves are waging war with the Bretonnian men.
In addition, they don't already have trouble with Chaos in the north, Greenskins, Skaven, ogres in the east, and Dark Dwarfs in the south.
I see you have never had the grudges against Bretonnia pop. It really takes a very slight insult for the Dawi to march on ya, and the Brets have a habit of being haughty assholes to the dwarves every bit as bad as Asur.

This game is amazing, one of my favorites strategy games! The 3 is awesome too, the monsters are way more detailed, and the demons lords can upgrade almost every part of theirr bodies!

Those airships can really take a beating. Strange that they're not doing any broadside attacks, though. Is that not a thing in this game?
They can and do it is just implimented very akwardly due to how the engine handles unit attack types. The main cannon on deck is the 'primary weapon' so when given an attack order that is what is used. All the other cannons are 'autonomous riders' I.E seperate units hooked to the main blimp unit sort of as if an infantry block were all standing on the head of one unit. Those other cannons thus cannot be given a direct attack and target order they all operate autonomously hence the name and target whatever they please when their cone of fire enables them to shoot.

A collective black plague system set upon Bretonia
They’re all dirty and poor and probably don’t have enough meds so it’s highly likely someone’s carrying something

Zeppelins have one cannon in front and like 6 on the side. So logically you wanna hit those humans with the might of all one of them.

What a hopeless battle for human race! The fight between XX Cent Army and Medieval Army! The Dwarf have airships, grenades, riffles and cannons, The human just rely on swords, arrow and some trebuchets! What a shame for human race so the human archers betrayed and shot down their general !

Dwarves are surprisingly versatile
The walls aren't the place to defend. Better to let the walls fall then bottle them up inside the city. Preferably with archer on inner walls.

Sieges ona TWW2 don't make much sense, you don't even have to use siedge machines, you just go with the ladders. In TW Rome 2 towers and rams were the only way to get inside (and sieges were 360).

I loved the battle, but where was the dwarven artillery? No organ guns, canons, flame canons, grudge throwers, or gyros. It's the dwarven bread and butter my man. Also isn't Thorek a rune smith as well? I didn't see him use any rune magic. Meanwhile, the bretonian mage used lightning spells. All in all a good battle tho 😁🍺
