The shampoo bar also crumbled on me half way through as well. I never left any feedback about it. Knowing you have changed the formula so the bars don’t crumble, definitely going to give them another try!

I was doing the exact same recipe from diybathandbody and had problems with the recipe hardening too quickly just this week. I was JUSTTTTTT in a dilemma and notifications of your video popped up! Thank you! 😭🌻 It seems quite difficult to get a really smooth surface but at least I know I'm not alone now 😂
I do the DIYbath&body recipe also ! It looks exactly the same as this one .. I don't mind the non smooth surface.. looks rustic ! They also list the same trouble shooting tips which I found helped
I can attest to the SLSA and the need for a REAL mask. I just used my tee shirt but it got in my throat anyway and I’m hoarse , coughing, and just plain uncomfortable. Please listen and get the mask.
100% I used SLSA without a mask for the first time this week and was coughing and hoarse the rest of the evening… masks help for sure
Ever since lush came out with these and I'm a huge proponent of the powder version of sci I am so happy that you decided to go this route because it verifies what I have been saying all along this is the better way to go! I hope you went to make your own buzz for this they know when they get my order I'm ordering SCI in 50 lb bags! This is one of my very favorite videos you have done so far that I've been a subscriber this is awesome! I think you might have accidentally stumbled on a really good bubble bar frosting that's what it looks like at the halfway point!

For mixing can you use a whisk or even the dough hook on your mixer?
Jerica what did you do with your old shampoos, or did you just sell until you ran out and then change your formula?
I use 1/2 noodles 1/2 powder. I love shampoo bars. I will never go back to store bought shampoo. I also love conditioner bars.
How do you go about with Hempseed oil having such a short shelf span? I know it goes rancid from 1-6 months. Don't the products go rancid too??
Would a 3oz ice cream scoop help for portioning? You could portion all the mix and then once that is done, then press. It would give the mix time to cool further and be less sticky in the press.

How much do you sell the shampoo bars for?
I ran into the same problem with my shampoo bars crumbling. I want to sell mine but currently just have them for personal use. I don't have a bath bomb press yet but hopefully this year that will be my big purchase. I have powder and noodles. I will defy have to try making some with the powder instead. Or maybe find a combo of powder and noodles I like and would be confident selling. Thank you for another awesome video!!

Why don't you keep the oil mix in a crock pot on low to keep it warm while you mix in the powder? I was thinking this might work instead of putting it back in the microwave?

Not gonna lie, the shampoo mixture looks like cake frosting. Also I was blown away by how pigmented the fizz fairy dye is!!!
Can you glop these into silicone molds and pop into the fridge?
I just made Jerika's shampoo bar without a press and pressed them into a silicone mold, so yes it works great! No need to put them in the refrigerator as they harden quite quickly :)
Do you have to have a special license to make and sell shampoo bars?
Could you put SCI noodles in a coffee grinder or bullet type blender to create powder?

Maybe you don’t even have to clean up the sides. To save time, just leave them as is and call them solid shampoo macarons 😄
You don't need any preservative for shampoo bars ;) it's like a soap. No preservatives in these products. :)
How come you don't use a stand mixer? Any particular reason? Your arm has to kill you after that! Lol
