I think that Butcher became that what he hates, supe but there is plot twist and he became first superhero TRUE superhero, the one who destroyed corrupted supes-society. Head of new Era superheroes.
I hate when people says he is the villian now. He lost his hope to supes completly when ryan kills Grace. And Neuman is female version of homelander. She killed so many innocent people like Susan and many more on the court s2. I will cry like a baby when Butcher dies...
I was absolutely shocked to see Butcher later, it looked like he was about to pass away in any minute, but, it looked like he let Kessler take over his mind, and Butcher used his new abilities/powers to kill Neuman
