Glad you noticed! Had to put together some heat for Jack
buy some hydrophobic wrap for the airfilter, air filters are made to filter air not water, there's a reason why stock cars usually have them in an air box and most importantly under the hood, not exposed and right below a wheel with almost no protection.
Edit: the misfire is probably even just a tad bit of water that got in and misfired because some sensor just picked up water, or worse it just misfired because of the water
Another good reason to put your bumper on. I get it, the turbo setups are pretty, but imo the cars look janky with the bumper off.

As you said, probab was the water getting sucked into the filters. Might ck local laws, I believe it is illegal to omit your bumper. For safety, it gives a barrier if hit from behind. Course you would want to protect the beautiful Sheepey Race work that you paid $50k - I'm guessing. Anyway nice rides!!!
