Doctor Who?
Doctor Who is a British science-fiction television programme broadcast by the BBC since 1963. The programme depicts the adventures of a Time Lord called the Doctor, an extraterrestrial being who appears to be human. The Doctor explores the universe in a time-travelling space ship called the TARDIS. The TARDIS exterior appears as a blue British police box, which was a common sight in Britain in 1963 when the series first aired. With various companions, the Doctor combats foes, works to save civilisations, and helps people in need.
Beginning with William Hartnell, many actors have headlined the series as the Doctor. The transition from one actor to another is written into the plot of the show with the concept of regeneration into a new incarnation, a plot device in which a Time Lord "transforms" into a new body when the current one is too badly harmed to heal normally.
A series of special episodes will air to celebrate the programme's 60th anniversary. The episodes were written by Russell T Davies, and will be broadcast on BBC One in November 2023, preceding the following fourteenth series. David Tennant will appear as the Fourteenth Doctor before Ncuti Gatwa takes over as the Fifteenth Doctor. Catherine Tate was also confirmed to be returning to the show in the 2023 specials.
The three specials were directed by Rachel Talalay, Tom Kingsley and Chanya Button respectively. Filming moved from Roath Lock Studios to Wolf Studios once Bad Wolf became a co-producer of the series; filming commenced in May 2022, and was complete
David Tennant will appear as the Fourteenth Doctor before Ncuti Gatwa takes over as the Fifteenth Doctor. Catherine Tate was also confirmed to be returning to the show in the 2023 specials. Yasmin Finney joined the cast for the anniversary, to portray a character named Rose. Bernard Cribbins, Jacqueline King and Karl Collins are also set to return as Wilfred Mott, Sylvia Noble and Shaun Temple, respectively.
The Fourteenth Doctor is the current incarnation of the Doctor, the fictional protagonist of the BBC science fiction television programme, Doctor Who. The Fourteenth Doctor is portrayed by Scottish actor, David Tennant, who previously portrayed the Tenth Doctor.
Within the series narrative, the Doctor is a millennia-old, alien Time Lord from the planet Gallifrey, with somewhat unknown origins, who travels in time and space in their TARDIS, frequently with companions. At the end of life, the Doctor regenerates; as a result, the physical appearance and personality of the Doctor changes.

Ah man choosing favorites is always difficult, each one holds a special place in my heart ya know lol. I change my mind all the time, but at the moment I'd say my favourite replica is the MFX Tenth Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver and my favourite custom replica is the Rubbertoe Custom MK1 Sonic Screwdriver but yeah i change my mind all the time 😅

My favorite is between 10’s, 11’s, and 12’s. And now 14’s is a contender ESPECIALLY how CO made the toy version work the same way as the actual prop!
Finally im 2 only two hours of 3d printing away from finishing mine. The only fancy feature that i have is that i can exchange the emitter against any with the custom sonic screwdriver connection. Soidering without proper equipement is a pain

I really love the design, but where do you get the sonic cores?
Thanks man! I picked up some extra cores on eBay over the years and way back they actually used to sell replacement cores on the Character website. eBay is the only place to find them now really.

Me too I was gonna get a new sonic screwdriver from eBay but I have to wait till it arrives in every shops in every town in Australia
@@danieloneill8951 They sold out so quickly it was crazy, seems many people were buying extras to sell for a profit.
The eBay prices ridiculous right now, but Character have said they are making more of the Online Exclusive version and soon a retail version will be released in select retailers so that could mean the prices will come back down to something more reasonable. 👍

@@danieloneill8951 That is annoying, it’s stupid that they didn’t make enough of them in the first place really. Pretty sure they only made 5 or 6 thousand of the Online Exclusive version, hopefully they’ll make more this time round 🤞
how do you do the crackle paint?
Well for this one, I spray painted the body section with Hycote Meadow Green and waited for it to dry. Then I sprayed some Montana Crackle Effect over the top of the green, this then cracks and the green starts to show through. 😃
i would like to know where did you get the green sticker from?
I had a bunch of Monster Energy stickers so I just cut one out to fit 😎
