I was more think on a possibility of false hope for Tails. Like, in the first moment that the fox lets his guard down, Exetior would have . . . finish what the sonic of Secret Stories didn't finish.

Funnily, he's calling EVERYONE else an imposter.
I like to think the whole reason this happened is that they are mad at each other, and decided to track each other down. Tails is mad at Xenophanes because he chased away the real Sonic, killed Sonic, or impersonated Sonic. Meanwhile, Xenophanes is mad at Tails for killing off his victims before him.

Huh, this is the rare time I actually feel kinda concerned for Sonic.EXE instead of Tails. I say that because I am convinced that Tails will straight-up murder .EXE for being a 'faker'.
Honestly, considering how powerful .EXE is I feel like he'd be more confused if anything. I mean the guy compares himself to that of God himself, and he's got the strength and power to back that claim up, and while Tails would try to kill him because, like you said, .EXE takes up the guise of Sonic as a ruse and isn't actually him, Tails would be HORRIBLY outmatched if he tried to kill him with one of his signature bombs.
@@christianwright7581 tails here is based on secret histories. He killed people in that animation by modifying their devices to make them explode and make it look like an accident. For example, knuckles phone battery "malfunctioned" and blew up, shadow's rocket boots "malfunctioned", and he was caught modifying Amy's hammer so if she hit something, it'd blow up. Just make the rings explosive.. or his shoes.
Edit: and yes, god like power, but enough explosives in anything, and it's dying. I don't care. 😂

I think there was a missed opportunity to add in some of Sonic.exe's laugh and screems during laughs mantic laughs but this is still amzing.
its my head canon that exe even though they call themselves gods and are murderous monsters, they enjoy toying with their opponents, so the fact exe is rapping and gets pissed when he loses makes total sense. he wants to drag BF and all who challenge him to a rap battle down to their level and completely destroy their ego before finishing them off.
