Hey TKO, after watching your ninja defuses (and other youtubers), I have attempted to do them too.
Personally, the best strat is on the Taraq Map (B). You only have to prone behind the wall facing their spawn. And if they rush plant, and don't look back, it's possible to ninja defuse. So far I have only done it four or five times.
On Embassy (B) it's best to hide with an camouflaged operator (the Jack Rileys ghillie for example), as it can completely hide you in the bushes near the bomb.
On the birmingham hotel, you can hide in a corner near the kitchen (B) and use dead silence to approach.
