Did anyone else notice that they had Robert as the Hot Chocolate Boy instead of Professor Hidgens in What If Tomorrow Comes?
Well Professor Hidgens was just mentioned by Emma as still presumably being in his fortress of a house, so it would be weird to suddenly have him there with the rest of them. So they went with Robert’s second most recognizable character from TGWDLM, our beloved Hot Chocolate Boy! 😊
I heard from somewhere that hot chocolate boy is going to be in the next play too, and is going to be named. I don’t know if it’s confirmed though.
Natasha McConnell I heard from a friend that someone confirmed his name was Peter, but I’m not 100% sure if it’s true or not.

can we appreciate how lauren managed to hold onto that iphone the entire show without dropping it (that I know of). I literally can't hold onto my phone without a popsocket or grip - I also have baby hands, so I drop everything. but still, that's talent.

I see what you mean but I think Black Friday works as other musicals - they don't see it as one from inside. I mean characters probably don't burst out into songs, that's just what we see. So for Paul it wasn't a musical number I guess.
My favorite parts are basically every moment Lauren is on screen (as usual).

I think the detail of HCB (peter) standing with ted and holding his hand during 'what if tomorrow' is heart wrenching. Mainly because now we know that that is his little brother, and it probably wasnt just "hey, choreo, hold the person next to yous hand." (Ofc it still could of been and im crazy) but it could have been "he doesn’t know if they're gonna die or not, so hes gonna hold his lover and his little brother in his possible last moments". To make it worse, ted didn't get to say goodbye to peter (HCB) during tgwdlm because pete was one of the first turned and ted spent the night with Charlotte. Pete didnt see him at home that night and probably had to walk to school because ted wasn't there, in my head thats why he got turned so early. Anyway 'what if tomorrow' is ted getting that chance to say goodbye in a way to me, you know?

At the end it’s implied that they got bombed
they’re counting down to tomorrow! it’s because tom says something like “it’s 11:57, almost saturday, if we can survive today we can survive anything” so they’re counting down to saturday, tomorrow, but they don’t survive it anyway
