Hi Jason. I had to send back the VeeSee pro back because it had issues with the remote, now I’m looking at this video on this supermax. Have there been any issues with buffering
It's been work good for me so far. But I haven't had much issues with any of the Superboxes.
Do i need a smart tv to use this product? I have an older Samsung with multiple HDMI input capability. I do have a ROKU Box currently
No you don't. You just need a HDMI input on your TV and internet.
is it a subscription in order to keep the vod and channels?
There isn't one.

The S5 Max and S5 Pro are indentical but the Max has more internal storage (64GB vs 32GB). The S5 Elite just adds "adult" channels.

Disney+ won’t work on the box. Not sure why it’s not compatible. 🤷🏼♂️
Also some movies won’t play on PLEX app.
Sound like it needs a video player. Try downloading VLC player.
