"I like working with paint, I really like the smell" I bet you do
Getting high off VOC like that causes brain damage & damage to kidneys & liver & probably lung cells too // perhaps sinus, nose, thoat, bronchial tubes, digestive system, God only knows
Among all the robots and automation you still see the tricks of the trade only a human can add. Great example; the nylon lifting strap used to draw the ends of the track together. Beautiful!
"They dominate the global market" me on the other side of the planet I've honestly never seen one
Same, I’ve worked in equipment my entire life as a heavy duty mechanic and haven’t even heard of sany before.
Where do u live bro ? I also never heard this sany until about 5 years ago and now this cheap ass equipment can be found almost everywhere in my country. I am from south east asia btw.
Auk ah Pusing I’m in Northern British Columbia Canada.
Here you are starting to see more and more doosan and Hyundai but its still a Cat/John Deere dominated industry.
Mikey Bol I live in the Midwest USA and I’ve seen several. There is a dealer not far from where I work.
what a wonderful video illustrating the many reasons to never purchase anything made in china
@@johnpogany2444 China took over long before Biden.try reading a book they are wonderful!
The narration of these vids kills me..."Soo Ming, 54 years old, has a cheese sandwich for lunch, at an estimated cost of $1.57, the slice of cheese is an industrial marvel of nutrition and practicality...which is critical as Soo Ming has only 18 mins. to eat it."
@Geo Thomas We learn from everyone,so what?U are borned to know how to build a space station?Or u never learn something from someone?
@Geo Thomas yeah, everything on this planet is from the U.S.Maybe that will make you happy.
Im a nerd. I love all these numbers. 18 minutes for a grilled cheese is far too long though. He should be back to work in 10 minutes.
Sanya able to produce competitive excavator thanks to parts ready available from Sumitomo, Kotmatsu and Caterpillar which produce their owns parts in China for their own assembly line in China.
"I really Like working working with paint. I like the smell" said Wang Zhisheng the Painter.
He's welcome to work in any 3rd world country paint plant with shitty protections for workers.
I bet these Sanys will flood the used market after just 3years of usage. Those decade old Hitachis will still beat them
Those are some very smart people, the people who design and set up all precision equipment. Wow.
@@conmanumber1 Yes, indeed. The Chinese Communist Party steals just about everything. And we in the West get to pay for Research & Development of new technologies, and they don't spend a cent. No wonder they can sell cheap junk. What really pisses me off, is that the proceeds of their ill gotten gains is used to build a military machine with one single aim: To enslave the world under their Communist Dictatorship!
Not sure what kind of millimeters they're using at the start of the vid, but that's not 80 mil thick steel
80 mm is over 3 inches. Hard to tell just by looking, but that did not seem to be 3 inch thick steel. I would guess somewhere between 20mm - 40mm.
Bello. Esto es el futuro, tecnologia durable y con servicio integral
THANKS YOU FOR THE VIDEO..!!
MUY INTERESANT.
Quality changes the world
Remote excavator controlled from other side of the World... A military tank heavily armed controlled from other side of the World.
Very informative, this channel is awesome
I want a documentary on 500 to 1200 ton mobile cranes (ex: Liebherr)
That remote setup would be nice for digging around utilities. The operator could be standing at the back side of the bucket and see everything.
Sounds dangerous if you hit gas line you would be first to the seen of accident
Good job!! I really liked it!
All I see is how quickly they could convert this into making tanks.
Also interesting how they track every single one they sell. Watch everything it does, and where it is.
The Chinese already have more tanks than they need. Tanks aren't really essential to modern warfare
@@Ray092684 If this was true they wouldn't make $134 million tanks. Talk about something you know. not something you think you know.
@@danielcline3548 What? An M1A2 main battle tank used by the US now costs between $6 and $7 million, similar to the cost of the current fleet of Challenger 2's used by the Brits. You tripped over your second sentence and face planted in a cream pie, my friend.
It's really amazing, I love what you show us.
My mind is now officially blown!!
I can see why they put robots in there, some of the massive safety issues shown on the video. Putting hands under the arm when fitting the bucket are being fitted is a great way to lose fingers. I'm sure Hitachi and Komatsu use more than a tape measure to check alignment of the track frames.
It has always been this way since the industrial revolution started. In publishing (typesetters), in manufacturing (obviously) too many subjects to pick (assembly lines, then robots), in transportation (put livery stables right out of business), in offices (computers, printers)etc., etc. Try to find a career that automation will at least be delayed, (plumbing, electrical, carpentry) but even there manufacturing will largely take over. But maintenance should still be there for a long time.
This is in such contrast to the American Auto Union workers in the 80's and 90's running out to their cars and getting high during lunch . Thanks, GM .
Nice, maybe in 20 years I might see one on my country
Jang, that hard hat with the chin strap has got to be your proudest moment
It's so windy in the plant you know. Typhoons all the time. Can't be too strapped up. Safety first, lol.
This is one of tmy favorite episodes because i really love excavators. thanks for making this kind of documentary :)
I can see this remote control to any point in the world applied to future space exploration and to remote contol of tanks, planes, and much more.
Hallo, im rey, im from indonesia, Its a good video and good information and i have a new knowledge about excavator,
They are preparing for ' ' Maximum Overdrive' ' machines turn on us as in old us. Movie with ac/dc music
This is the same technology Amazon uses to track how much time an associate wastes in a day.
LiuGong, Sany, XCMG and Shantui that the TOP Chinese Excavator brand you maybe don't know
Somehow the remote control and intelligent “black box” really scares me. Imagine in war time, they could control these machines remotely from their HQ. They have the power to deliver some serious damage. And they are distributing these machines globally, 1 tank every 10 mins. Well i guess i can only hope that 5G wont become the new norm anytime soon...while i rewatch the Terminators.
The remote control isn’t that special, caterpillar has been doing it for decades. But that black box is all sany
Looks legit china. Great work. Didnt think id ever say that.
Sounds like the painter is touting how amazing his job is as if he'll get sent to a camp if he doesn't.
people used to talk about work that way in North America , 30 or 40 years ago, back when the coolest people were those who worked. Now we idolize those who never do any work... figured out how to get rich without working. That painter has probably never seen people on the streets overdosing on fentanyl. He goes home with a sense of accomplishment every day.
Sany is the "Harbor Freight" equivalent of excavators.
04:21 Guy just goes inside machine to adjust cutting heads? SAFETY LAST. That was enough for me to know about their processes. No, thanx!
Keren ya sdah robot... kalo ngebubut part nya aja sudah pegal, berat banget coy ..

"We removed humans to save life"... Hahaha!
@assassinlexx AGREE, DOUBLE DITTO! THEY WILL INVENT A ROBOT TO DO THAT,. HELL PEOPLE DONT EVEN VACUUM ANYMORE, ROBBIE THE ROBUT DOES, LOL
Let's see these machines after 20 years
Nice equipment and looks very sturdy
Best customer service ever
Best documentary ever on Manufacturing. Good work by Free Documentary. 💯💯💯
The visible rust on the yellow crane outside the factory made me worried
Very exceptional saving human energy , time &money
those plasma cutters should have some programmable support for metal sheets so they dont get melted.
The scary thing about this is.. this is the way of the future whether you like it or not anyone who grows up from school better come up with a better trade or you going to be unemployed or remain Poor. . This is why I'm glad I've learned new skills I've only got five years of work left thank God for that Till I Retire I am lucky as hell I'm sorry for Next Generation that don't learn nothing they going to be poor as hell... if they don't learn new skills because robots AI is coming.. replace country City town near you..
I bet they must put a lot of effort, labor and investments into building this factory. It would be cool to know how to operate these machines and even better build them.
@@MFDElk you're telling me my friend you are so right in America did not doing this yet and this is what makes China Superior as well complaining about Labor and money they just building stuff.. and the biggest bummer is we're the ones buying the stuff making them rich in the first place.. Quality change the world... 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
THis is what you get when you have a state subsidized manufacturing chain. Brilliantly efficient and good for NO ONE!
@Lew Rodd there is literal concentration camps in China right now for people who disagreed with their government
like Caterpillar and GM etc have never received any subsidies in the US. lol. you just call it a "bailout"
"32 robots have replaced 24 welders"
Seems counterintuitive.
Haha, yes but a robots are way more efficient and productive, assuming competition, this lowers the price point of excavators. Now it allows people with less capital to purchase it and bill people hundreds and hundreds of dollars per hour to use.. now there is an equilibrium as more excavator operators means the service cost is reduced so you may only be able to bill a couple hundred an hour which greatly benefits the majority of people needing excavator work but couldn't afford it prior to the robots building them.
Ya I'll be keeping my JD AND CAT excavators thank you
very good. I'm guessing you run a small museum in nothingsville usa suburbia.... enjoy your "life" so for what it isn't
@@brianobrien4900 so slave labor and a lack of power and reliability is key. Got it. Ive seen nothing but complaints about sany. They suck. Sure cheap is great until it costs thousands a day when its down. They are heavy equipment designed for light use. Plastic coated hydraulic hoses? Like thats durable. Gtfoh
It's amazing that the robot and humans perfect match here to get this job done so quickly!
If I could run my excavator by virtual reality, wouldn't that be something. No more sore back at the end of the day. No more commute to the jobsite. Never leave my house. Well the last might be stretching it. Sign me up. I will still stick with my Hitachi tho.
Wish China could make all their products like these excavators.
not me... i refused to buy anything from china
china makes stuff junk that wont last
Robert Kiell Apple products are made in China. Owed every model except the 1st gen. Each model had their fair share of drops, road rash, slammed against the wall (via arguing with the wife) and even dropped in the toilet. None broke or required repair and works as normal. Your tv if not a Samsung or sony/hitachi/Panasonic is made in China. Pretty much every electrical gadget you own is made in China or Korea and Japan. I’m not vouching for China as a whole cause yes majority of the stuff they make is junk. But in fairness there are some products and equipments they make that lasts a long time. Like these excavators.
So you gave the chassis a good coat of primer and then sand it off in specific areas (future rust spots I bet). I'm sure JCB dont apply micrometers of paint to there products (more like milometers).
It’s micrometers on jcb too, if it was millimeters it would scrape off easier
at 29:30: You need a 5G network: Just get the complete package with Huawei, then it is not only your excavator, but also every thing else, the Chinese can control. On a different note: Never heard about Sany before (and I have been to China app 60 times).....
12mths to build that beast of a facility. Only China could make this happen, seriously.
Very healthy environment indeed
When They eliminate Workers! They are eventually eliminating Customers too
Didn't show the copying center, where foreign built machines are reverse engineered and copied to the micro part. Would have like to see that.
Dare I say precise parts cut from some wavy plate steel...
Perhaps if those guys made them a little more durable they wouldn't have to build a new one every 10 minutes..
Did you see how good condition old farm tractors are fetching a premium because what farmer wants to deal with a computer problem!
My exact same thought. All these big numbers tell a story of a production which doesn't favor high quality enough.
Just like Detroit cars and truck's the payment it's longer than. Durability of the product .
Got to love the Chinese. I hope they do sell there sany industrial equipment worldwide! Push out these company's that charge over price for there equipment. Like JCB! I'd love to see them pushed out. Cant stand company's that charge well over the odds to make ridiculous profits.
Soup and rice is free, that dude scoops free rice like sany excavator :-))))
Thanks for letting us know!!!
So, I'm working demolition in Ohio near city hall when all of a sudden I have no control of the machine. Instead, the excavator heads towards city hall, up the steps and into the lobby all controlled from a remote location in China.
Cool Documentary!!
I thoroughly enjoyed watching this anti-human video. :D
Excelente trabajo. Ya 😎
Unbelievable!
Checking tracking on steel tracks on a steel floor or any slippery surface will not give an accurate reading of track deviation. As the lack of traction allows for misalignment and inconveniences will be taken up by the slip factor.
This test should be conducted on either earth or concrete. Also note that none if the main functions of the machine were tested under load.
@@VPMore And yet they DON'T produce reliable machines. They are absolute junk, talk to anyone that has used a Cat to try out a Sany and they'll will hand the keys back after an hour.
you need to tell them this!lm sure they havent thought of this and as aresult, they build machines that will never work right.
You know what else can be produced in 10 minutes. war machines, tanks.
Much respect to you guys.
Long live China.
From 🇨🇦 :)
They may be able to dominate asia and europe but north america will almost always prefer Caterpillar and other domestic equipment manufacturers to foreign. Foreign manufacturers in north america are an unknown, but especially Caterpillar is well know and has one of if not the best reputation for quality and longevity in the same if not more extreme work conditions.
The robot work is not only just as precise by mere mortals they are also twice as fast 😂🤣 9:20
Amazing.
Alat berat sany ada tuh di babek cakung,baru2 semua ..
I noticed that the bucket cannot be easily changed with another bucket or other attachment, I would not like them having access to my machine through what they call a blackbox
It is very useful for engineering students
Extremely useful for establishing a working knowledge of a broad scope of practices including quality.
If you don't build 'quality' the customer won't buy it. And every worker has no job.
First focus on the Overt and then Covert Customer requirements - if you want to be a commercial success.
Don't worry about the exam, people cheat in exams all the time.
